Epi 7: Another painfully beautiful, raw episode, Mol deigns to claim she doesn’t want to “lose” Wang, yet…
I find her idea of motherhood to be so fascinating because of how selfish it ultimately is. And when she was talking to In about how awful her life has been, as if In hasn't been completely alone for years and suffered as well.

I'm definitely in the minority. No matter how much I try, I feel nothing when I watch each episode. The cinematography…
The point of the show is this "unsettling" relationship. As an audience member, we are meant to sympathize and empathize with all of them. Its valid that the mom feels so... disgusted with their relationship. The ultimate point though is that Wang has chosen every step of the way to pursue In. He wasn't seduced or groomed or anything. Is it incredibly messy and murky? Yep. Is it possible that it is just an obsession and not love? Yep. Is it also possible that it is love and it can be good for In and Wang? Also yep. That's what makes this drama so good. Aside from the mom's homophobia - which has been dealt with in an incredibly nuanced and fantastic way - the show has been quite open to interpretation. I don't think you're necessarily supposed to 100% agree with anyone. And that makes it feel real.
