Yes, in the beginning seigo looks really evil, but tbh one discontentment i had for the drama is Seigo didn't look as much of a competition to Issei compared to the manga. Seigo's good quality isn't really displayed in the drama I initially thought the script did the character so dirty lol

the plot points are all adapted from the manga albeit skipping few chapters maybe to match the pace for 10 episodes. The kikuno conflict ended around chapter 50 if i remember correctly and the part time girl came up later than in drama. The event leading to hayame's car chase confession was also caused by a new character which isn't in the drama

Despite cliche plot, the chemistry between Hayame and Issei is off the chart! I've read the manga and was worried because Maeda Gordon's image is far different from manga's Issei but surprisingly his acting is good he made Issei's personality come to life.

chinese dramas are dubbed because of language reason, not merely because of time or production. China is a big country with multiple languages and accents, but for TV the government encourages the use of standard chinese that's why dramas are mostly dubbed.

I can understand if we're talking about cinematography, techniques and whatnot which can actually be learned, but criticizing a production based on countries considering the difference in resources, finance, culture while people genuinely enjoy watching the drama for what it is and give high ratings, imo it's something we shouldn't berate.
