The most non BL -BL that I've seen... what I think: When Xiao Wei meets general Hua the focus is on him but he's not revealed nor his thoughts about her (heart) When he's taking a bath he listen to Wang Sheng heart's and he wants it right there, cause its a pure loving heart, that why he takes it after. It's never told that he wants the wife hearts he only wants her feelings of affection... maybe. Well, he's a obsessed heart eating demon and takes wang sheng heart, oh boy the dissappointment on his face when Wang Sheng phantom(?) comes and still loves the wife... He gives his own lock of hair to meet in the next life. Aaaaand in all those years he never took the girl heart or did something akin to love for her... He just takes it when she dies... After all their feeling where elsewhere but their hearts.
