the 2nd lead from extraordinary you was also a cold hearted poker face for more than half of the drama and he…
THISSSS!!! I literally wrote the same thing down in comments that Lee Jae wook plays this cold hearted jerk kinda roles so well. He oozes such charisma. Same for my boy D.O, in all honesty kyungsoo is the only idol turned actor whose work i find satisfying.
Letter dude? Math dude? You have to marry this man ASAP! Lock him down!P.S. what does he mean by color palette?
Haha...I mean he watched just for me says alot. He also switched to grandma as Corn dog women in between. Imma make him watch Run On next lol.
We recently watched A piece of your mind and how it was all cozy and winter vibed, yet here it was a business-esque drama and had no chic style to it. Like it wasn't professional enough in his books.
I'm happy you liked it. The scene where Siwan is asking the actress who she is, I laughed so hard. Lol
I also like how Mi Joo and Seok gyeom have smooth conversation and when he is with other he is just a weird awkward dude. I love the bonding and how they balance each other out.
There is alot of discussion on Eunwoo's acting in here so here is something. Eunwoo is an IDOL, who luckily gets main role cuz he is handsome. Does that means his acting can he excused? Not at all. But "hating" on him is kind of wrong cuz atleast here in True Beauty he smiles. He never did that in My Id is gangnam beauty. He is still a rookie in my opinion and I know people are irked by his persona but should that stop you from enjoying the drama when Moon Gayoung is doing a brilliant job?
I'll be super honest alot of people were anticipating the drama cuz of Eunwoo. He is famous for his beauty and everyone was kind of happy he got Suho's role. I have not read the webtoon but someone said that his character even in webtoon is same as of the drama.
As for Inyeop he is a good actor, he has screen presence and overshadows Eunwoo but what can we do, it is what it is. We have to deal with robot Eunwoo.
Again I'm not excusing his acting but I don't hate him here, he has some personality to him in TB.
So guys I made my boyfriend watch this drama, cuz why should I suffer from trauma lol. Here are few things he said and I honestly forgot most of it *Nervous laughter*
-The idea of people starting up from nothing is nice, I mean it looked like a business drama but I was proven wrong. The only professionals I liked was the sister (Kang Hanna) and Letter dude (HJP cuz he can't remember names). They used critical thinking and had solid game planes. -Why are the episodes soooo long? I skipped alot for the most part except the grandma scenes, she is cute. -Why is the colour pallete so boring? Considering that it's has such a colourful poster it's quite dull. - People like Math dude (NDS) exist, they think their life is hell and they have it worst so they constantly tell everyone about it to gain sympathy, that's how he got the FL by acting miserable while Letter dude (HJP) who ACTUALLY had it hard was left out cuz he hided everything. Exactly who knows in the drama about his struggles? Only grandma? -I for some reason feel anxious that I have small hands I mean great reasoning by writer? *Sarcasm intended* - It's a very average drama with hella long episodes and no solid plotline. I wish it had 11-13 episodes and last few didn't existed. -I wish they kind of showed more of FL process thinking. Or any bonding scene sister, Letter dude or even Math dude. -Lastly, did the Math dude broke the glass plate infront of his girlfriend to show his concern?
We talked alot and my brain only remembers these things. I am not sure if he will take my request to watch any drama serious ever again. Hehe.
Expired avocado dude this gold hahaha.
Edit: I made him watch it, I didn't watch it with him (;
