My theory is he was once happily married and lived in the city, but maybe either his wife died or left him, that made him move to the country side. The reason he is doing all these jobs is too keep himself busy as possible. Other then that you are right.
I was throughly entertained by the second episode. The relationship btw HCG and her father is so precious, the politics at the back is dangerous but also shows how capable Ha Ram is to protect what matters to him. Their meeting scene in palanquin, was soo beautiful. Everything was great, the humor was also not over the top and had some good laughs time to time. Definetly watching this as it goes.
The first episode was very good. The fantasy level is high, but story actually makes sense and you can follow along. I loved the acting of the kid version of HCG and HR. It pulled out many emotions from me. Definetly looking forward to the 2nd episode.
