I watched this episode on 2x speed, not like anything was happening beside Jae Eon constantly being in Na-bi's personal space or Nabi just ignoring all the red flags around him. She saw him kissing someone else and then within few seconds was back too swoon over him. Well girl you are fu*ked.
I rewatched the first episode (cuz nothing good is airing these days) and I have to give credit to the makers for capturing the tension between the leads quite well. One thing that this drama did good is, that it's a good depiction of real life. Men like Jae Eon exist and sweet, naive girls like Nabi are around as well. As for acting, I do agree I didn't payed attention to Song Kang's acting the first time, but he at moments did not radiate the alpha male energy the show wants him to put out. He is too sweet to look that manipulative or cunning. I also think the drop in rating is weird. It's just one episode and yes it looks toxic but maybe cuz it wants to be that way? A certain audience will enjoy this drama, but giving a rating based on just 1 episode is unfair.
There are still two episodes left, so I see "The Diety" pulling something crazy and making them together at the end. I know it, I can feel it. Anyway MM will be missed.
This was such a filler episode. Like nothing happened at all. Writer used the cliche trope of "forgetting each other" to make the story move forward. Even the spark btw Sa-Ram and Dong-Kyung from the intial episodes have pretty much died down.
Okay come on though … not one person in the comments feed is gonna deny the leads forgetting each other ……
You are underestimating my intellect here, I was soo confused that I had to re watch the whole thing to understand the "oh so they forgot each other" -_-
What did he exactly do to be toxic? i mean did he cheat on her or did he start dating her and then cheated on…
Let me explain a bit, when they met for the first time he was there for another date but when he saw her he canceled it, then he proceeded to ask her name, her previous relationships and all yet he didn't even tell her his name almost as if making sure she'll look for him to know what it is. He is constantly touching her trying to get her heart on her sleeve, being charming, leaning in, giving sexual tension to her. Creating an atmosphere where she just can't resist him.
Oof I’m glad everyone else in the comments is thinking Jae uhn is a toxic & manipulative ahole lmao, like who…
I agree. But I feel Na Bi needs a CHANGE too. I relate to her, I was like her in highschool but gladly I changed over the years and am able to diffrentiate btw red flags and harmless flirting.
As much as I enjoy these kind of dramas, Na-Bi is being emotinally manipulated into whatever he wants from her. She just came out of a toxic relationship, so it's pretty obvious she is looking for a shelter and that shelter just happens to be the most f**k boii, person on the campus.
