LSG and IU's characters in their respective dramas are of adults. Whereas they first meet their love interests when the characters (i.e Oh Yeon Soo and Yeo Jingoo's characters) when they're like ~8-10.
I don't have a problem with an age gap in itself but I can't ship a romance when the younger character is a teen/young…
What about Hwayugi? LSG's character met the female lead when she was a kid as well. In Doctor, Kim Raewon's character was the teacher of Park Shin Hye's character too (and she was a high school student). In HDL, IU's character meets the male lead when he's a kid as well. She even kinda stalks him.
I only saw and dropped Goblin out of these. I don't mind age gaps, as long as there is not also a huge mental…
Ahh Find Yourself. In that drama, Song Wei Long's character's mental age was higher than Victoria's character's tbh despite him being 10 years younger lol
I like romances with age gap, esp older women/younger men trope. As long as both the actors are legal, I don't have any problems with it as long as they look good together. Some of these couples, just don't have any spark despite that (for e.g Goblin couple and Mr Sunshine couple are both very lacking in chemistry and lame imo).
Search:WWW is the prime example of age gap done well tbh All three couples have the women older than the men and two of the couple have a large age gap. Yet you won't feel any form of awkwardness in them. The chemistry is brilliant.
Hospital Ship's Ha Ji Won - Kang Minhyuk couple is another really well done couple with age gap. Also Something In the Rain is another show with a great pairing.
I thought the show will be like ThirTEEN terrors but I am so disappointed. The show feels like something that…
I studied Korean for years (private lessons) and even I didn't appreciate this. The final episode had so much potential, if it was just longer. They could've scrapped the whole show and instead created a full length movie based on the final episode instead. Ridiculous.
Mediocre and a total waste of time. It's an episodic anthology a la Fear Itself. Each episode runs for 8-10 minutes (except for the final, which is 15mins long). The main problem is that it never lets the premise set in and instead ends abruptly. It's just a vignette of random stories without any development. It tries to make usage of cheap jumpscares, which aren't even scary because they're so cliched and predictable. It's not worth watching.
There's nothing typical about this drama lmao it in fact avoids almost every cliched trope that are present in…
Ahh noted. It's very well used in fact. The main female lead is unlike any other female lead honestly. She's so strong minded and independent, and in a very quirky way. She's a fast learner. At the beginning she takes a lot of hits, but she gives them back as the show moves on.
It's intentional. It's a camera technique you'll often see in European movies (for e.g. Amelie). The director…
You should. It's brilliant. It's SOOO quirky, like there's nothing like that movie. I mean you'll not find another movie like it. It's so different, in a very good, well made way lol
