Originally I was not keen over this one but it turned out to be a nice surprise. My boy Max isn't very good at acting but I can forgive him cuz he is such an eye candy ;) In the end, I was feeling bad for Jennica but the appearance of Tul was a cherry on top xD. All in all a nice time kill.
OH, MY WORLD!!! can't believe episode 13 and 14 had just excruciating phone convos 90% of the time and just plain boring looooong convos rest of the time. SMH.
Interesting watch n a good lesson that if you victimize others one day you are bound to be bitten in the ass and not in a good way I might add ;). P.S. I do not agree with the last statement that It happened because of my "complicated sexual orientation", now that might just be wrongly subbed but I do not think loving another human being is complicated in any way whatsoever. So overall good watch.
It is always mind-boggling to me when people react so violently to two human beings falling in love. I mean it's not like one day you are coming home and saying " mom, dad I am in love with the family dog" or “mom, dad, I am in love with daisy, our pet cat". Now that I understand people throwing a hissy fit over. But two HUMAN BEINGS falling in love. Never understood why people go nuts over it. SMH. I try to educate as many people as I can, but I still get sad and fascinated by the ignorance we still have in this awesome world of ours. Young boy killing himself over the bullying of ignorant humans was so heartbreaking for me that I could not focus on the main couple. I just kept concentrating on that one student going through such trauma. SMH.
I really enjoyed this series. To me, it showed how when you venture out of your comfort zone you can deviate from the path. Our two protagonists moved to Bangkok to different universities. But at least they had one thing in common, their same goal of acting. But when one of them Oh, changed his major our other protagonist felt lost. We see his struggle in the beginning constantly trying to meet Oh and trying to make it back to his classes. I feel that the character of teh was quite complex and the actor did a fine job of doing justice to it. In “I told sunset about you” the prequel of the series, we see his struggle in trying to find himself and his sexuality. He even relinquished his seat at the university for Oh ( who btw never even ever thanked him for his awesome intentions). How many people have done what teh did? Relinquishing their seat at the university for a friend? I personally can't think of one, to be honest. When I got into my university I was so excited and knew that in this cutthroat world of ours, I would not let go of my seat for anyone. Now in this series again we see teh trying to make his boyfriend happy and constantly commuting from uni to his boyfriend’s place as well, which was not just exhausting but also expensive. Unlike Oh teh is not from a well-off family. Oh showed several weaknesses to me in this series. Yes, he seemed to love Teh a lot and was loyal to him, but we never saw him commuting to Teh’s university to meet him. He only did it when he felt that Teh was being distant and aloof. Oh, changed his major at the university without even discussing it with his significant other. Got a tattoo without his significant other or even discussing it with him. These things might mean menial but in real life and relationships, they do matter. I feel it was natural for Teh to feel lost and mistakenly took Jai’s advances as something more than they actually were. Unlike many others, I do not hate or even dislike the character of Jai. I think we have all been there at one point in our lives or another when we're fascinated by someone in the same field as us, someone who is more experienced and sophisticated. So, it was very natural for a young freshman to be taken in by his more sophisticated senior who also happens to be a director of the drama he is playing a role in. In the end, I do not think that Oh made any mistake of taking teh back. They just happened to run into each other, and those old feelings came back. A very natural thing to happen if you have been deeply involved with someone in the past. I think Oh going to bas for advice and evaluating his options showed that he knew what he was doing and teh was the guy he wanted to be with, period! Now, them running into each after a year or so later can be a coincidence, karma, or pure luck. Whatever one believes in. I really enjoyed this series more than the previous one frankly. I think all the actors did a good job, was nicely written as well as neatly directed. What more can one ask for? 😉
P.S. I do not agree with the last statement that It happened because of my "complicated sexual orientation", now that might just be wrongly subbed but I do not think loving another human being is complicated in any way whatsoever. So overall good watch.
