That ending ended me

This was a great experience. It was fun to watch, had an interesting plot with good twists, decent pacing throughout, and an amazing soundtrack to top it off.

At times, I did feel like the dramatic elements surrounding the magic were excessive. I believe the magical effects alone were enough to make it enjoyable without all the extra fuss.

That ending, though – it really hit me. I was expecting some sort of grand gesture to save the main lead, but I never predicted how they chose to bring him back. I felt incredibly sad about it, not because it was bad, but because it gave me genuine pain.

The highlight of this drama was definitely the relationship between the brothers, Lee Rang and Lee Yeon. Their story was not only well-written with complexity and depth, but the actors also brought them to life beautifully. The romance between Nam Ji A and Lee Yeon felt simultaneously strained and wholesome, which made it endearing to watch rather than it being the spotlight. Additionally, side characters like Ki Yu Ri and Koo Sin Ju added great dynamics to the story – the drama really wouldn’t be complete without them.

I felt the villain, Imugi, and his antics were somewhat ridiculous, but the way his storyline intertwined with the main leads was executed well.

The overall plot is a bit messy, but it’s easy enough to follow. You won’t miss much if you overlook certain details during the story. If you can get past these issues and enjoy the character development, then you’ll find it enjoyable. Just be warned that the ending might leave you feeling a bit bitter!
