Well it's really difficult (in my case though) to make my friends interested in Chinese drama (even the Chinese themselves!). Even my fujo friend doesn't seem to be interested. I'm so frustrated lol...Any tips to make my friend understand they're missing a masterpiece? xD

Alex is totally right. I didn't even know any of the genres/terms before watching the untamed and It wasn't so hard to understand. People just need to be patient because it's quite new for most of us, and wait few episodes to understand it fully (or look for info on internet if they're curious).
It's the same for any new things you'll try out in life, like sport for exemple. You won't understand if at first try.
I'm watching/reading all sort of fantasy stuff from Asian drama/manga to Western novels/serie and I'm really confused at the "flaws" part? You mean the drama isn't perfect? Well would any be perfect one day lol? Please tell me :p
But if you're talking about the Xianxia genre, I don't understand.

I really love the genre, it's so unique :) I'm used to Korean/Japanese/Thai drama more and never seen a fantasy world so beautifully written and amazingly adapted in live action.
Now I think I'm pretty addicted to the genre haha. I hope they'll adapt other Xuanhuan, Xianxia and Wuxia BL (but maybe I'm dreaming xD)

Really nice to encounter other The untamed lovers. Sometimes I feel a little bit alone. Nobody can't understand my feelings IRL so I keep coming here haha. I can relate really well to your story xD
And who cares if we're addicted, if that makes us so happy? I'm smiling like crazy when I see LWJ and WWZ or Yibo and Zhan. They're so funny to watch :)

We're all in the same state haha. I have plenty of drama to finish or start but I just can't move on from the untamed and don't want to :D

I don't have words to express what I feel after seeing this drama...
I'm not into C-drama at all, didn't know nothing about the novel/actors and most of the BL/adaptations I've seen were kind of bad or so so.
I've become over the years pretty selective when picking drama. But the Untamed made me fall in love at first sight, blowing away my top drama easilly (and unfortunetly lol). And if you think this drama is on top just because two men are into a bromance, you're fooling yourself hard.
This drama is ont top because everything is magnificient : The realisation is amazing, the story is deep & intense, the chemistry is perfect, the characters superb, the ost/costume/ scenery beautiful. You'll feel so much emotions !
Don't make the same mistake as me and wait because the 50 eps seem too long. You'll regret it for sure.

I'm addicted to this drama, and very happy that I choose to watch it :) Even the BTS/ interviews are fun to watch!

Amazing skills in The untamed. I was really impressed! The acting sounds really natural and picture well the character Wei Ying.
I hope to see him again paired with Yibo. Awesome chemistry that is quite rare nowadays, Bravo!
