Yeah, the hype is fiercer for Immortality, more well-kown actors and It was the first BL to shoot this year (around April) so the fans of the genre (bromance/BL) have tagged since the start and got a lot of content. While Sha po lang (that I personnaly prefer) has nothing, no photos, no videos (steal) :/ I think that kind of stuff contribute to the hype.

It's ok to share your experience about the drama, good or not but some people shouldn't assume because they don't like something, the other party loves it for garbage reasons. As we, fans, should accept the ones disliking the drama, they should also accept that people adore the drama for many relevant reasons :)
To conclude, speak for yourself not for others and if you're uncertain about something, you still can ask the community, we don't bite xD

I'm pretty sure. They'll adapt more than 60 BL but I don't know how It will turn (brothers, bromance, censored bromance or heteronormalized drama)

It's actually a very decent watch, out on sunday with eng subs :)
There other donghua in preparation as HOB, PUBG, SVSS and the 3rd season of MDZS...We're so blessed xD
And to answer, I don't know any drama that are similar, but there are lots of similar manhua /novels if you like to read

You can go on novelupdates to find c-novels (or asian novels, BL or not). It's a paradise for readers :)
I pick new novels following the rating and I haven't been deceived until now. My fav are Golden Stage (the pairing is one of the best and it's historical ) & Thousand autumns (wuxia/action/romance). I'm currently reading Priest's novels and they're pretty good too.

I keep rewatching each year LOTR or The Hobbit xD
And I know I shouldn't but I have some expectations for the upcoming LOTR serie...
