I had this drama sitting around for so long and finally watched it.. I kinda enjoyed it but I didn't like how everything is known from the first episode, there were no plot twists at all or any creative writing in my opinion, this drama ends exactly how you expect it to. Also the last episode had so much progress compared to the previous episodes that felt stretched by a lot. Overall I bumped it to 8/10 cause of the OST and the uniqueness of "cellular memory" theory, I could swear I saw it on another drama before but I don't remember. :D
Damn that was so good, I'm a bit glad I binge-watched it cause I think if I watched this as it was airing it would have felt stretched.. but god damn the acting, the plot, the characters, the ost.. this is easily one of the top dramas I ever watched and will remain there for a long time.
The ending was so tragic and painful to watch I should have cried. I can't cry I'm numb lmao ¯\_(ツ)_/¯I liked…
couldn't cry either I feel like I was just confused half the time in the last 2 episodes that I realized "oh right this is a drama" and couldn't connect to the characters anymore. So many things spiralled out of control and the outcome makes no sense. :/
Overall not bad yet not super amazing drama.IMO pretty good actors and core plot, just really poor writing and…
I'm kinda tired of the whole damsel in distress that have 2 knights in shining armour that appear all of the sudden and she can't clearly pick a winner but I'm glad this drama didn't overstretch the love triangle. I loved the moments they described their feelings as poems or books but I disliked the part where they made it sound like EVERYTHING is about books. Also, what the hell happened to her daughter? did the writer completely forgot she exists after like 2 episodes? Would have been nice to see some interaction between her and the main lead, you know.. step father issues or something. Let's not forget about the husband divorcing her one year ago cause the one he cheated on her with was pregnant, and then we see her a year after still being pregnant...?
Overall not bad yet not super amazing drama. IMO pretty good actors and core plot, just really poor writing and excuses to include some overused tropes. 7/10. :\
Did u finish? If so spoil the ending please it was way to boring for me to finish but i wanna knw how it ended
BIG SPOILER xD
They break up and get back together after a while and there was a hint of marriage when the girl asks the guy to travel to certain country and the guy says "how about we do that for honeymoon?" and she smiles and nods as they continue walking.
So Hyun's dad quit politics and turns himself in so Taeyoung has nothing to hold against his daughter, he also rats them out in the interrogation and with So Hyun's mothers's testimony her dad and the Taeyoung evil woman both go to jail. Main couple visit the dad occasionally but no one visits the woman (she refuses her son's visits)
such a cute drama its predictable but in a good way and a very satisfying ending!!
Agreed. I don't mind the predictability much it's not the main focus like mystery or detective genre. It felt satisfying when my predictions were correct and even better when they weren't. :)
Finally finished this garbage, it was a weekly torture to watch it hoping they finally get into explaining stuff and you telling me it ENDED? sigh, it had potential to be the best drama in 2018, another writer on my black list..
You must not know anyone with psychological scars then. The writing of Kang Doo's characters and him pulling away…
I'm sorry I don't remember the details but it felt like most of the time one of them was mad at the other and the other was seeking forgiveness, maybe it's like you're saying and I'm exaggerating seeing how my memory is weak.. :D Have a good day
I don't like when the slice of life drama get so far from actual real life possible events like this to be honest, disliked the whole crime cliche surrounding Song Ji's plot in this season, but overall not a bad drama. Season 1 felt better imo (this isn't related to the actress change at all, just the plot), also sadly both seasons not great rewatchability in my opinion.
I just couldn't stand this drama and almost dropped it at episode 3, but I had nothing else downloaded to watch when I had no internet so I forced myself to keep watching.. I have to admit it turned out better than I expected just not as good as I hoped it would be before I started watching. The whole time traveling plot had potential but they just wasted it with so much plot holes, and the ending is pretty messed up if you consider the kids..
Any one know of any drama where the main relationship is similar to the one between lee kang doo and jung yoo…
What's Wrong With Secretary Kim(?) I'm not sure what type of relationship you mean but the couple in that drama were part in an unhappy accident as kids and the male remembers but the female lost her memory, close enough?
Goddamnit, I was so scared Kang Doo would die in the end, I cried buckets and negotiated with heavens to let him…
I agree, I would be damn mad if they decided to kill him off from liver failure, it's not like it's a tumor or terminal disease, also the reaction from Sang Man's mom felt over the top.. it's not like he's donating his entire liver, people don't die from liver transplant in 2018, and they lived with Kang Doo for good 10 years... With that being said I don't like the way they handled it making him look dead for a good 10 mins before letting us know, at that point I preferred if he actually died cause I already cried buckets, I was disappointed by the final episode. :(
Hmmmmm... I just finished watched this drama and I can't exactly tell how I felt. Is it just me or the push and pull was way over the top? the main couple fought and made up way too many times, I also didn't like how 99% of the issues were from the past, was hoping for more present dilemmas and hurdles for the couple to overcome, and the end is -avoiding spoilers- felt rushed and disappointing. Maybe it's cause I sort of binge-watched it in 3 days it felt like that, either way it's not a bad drama, 8/10 from me.
This drama doesn't deserve anything less than 9.4, let's bring it back up!!!
Sad truth is it's very hard to bring it up compared to down, to bring it up you have to 10/10 it but for it to go down even if someone likes it but not much and gives it 9/10 or 8/10 or dislike it and give it even lower, it will go down.. :D Look at it on positive note that the rating changing means more people are watching it, regardless of the rating they give.
can someone explain why they did not stay in touch for a long time when she left at the end.
From what I heard there is been some sort of movement in Korea against the age gap recently, and the director didn't want to involve controversy about the two characters having some sort of romantic relationship, since Park Dong Hoon got divorced at the end some fans could make speculations.
Just finished this drama, expected something legendary from the #2 korean drama.. ended up pretty disappointing. I think you shouldn't go into this with high expectation. I couldn't get attached to any character beside the three shown in the drama cover, way too many victims, cases, detectives, people from the past, people from the future.. This drama would have been below average as a crime/detective genre if not for the "changing the future" radio that popped out of nowhere, and most of the time it was used to induce the tearjerker instead of main plot, surprised this isn't tagged as melodrama from the amount of time it made me cry. Most of the cases were super weak too, 90% of them were manipulated evidence by the same person which is pretty dumb considering how many cops would be covering up for him and how many bribes he would have to throw around.
