The only reason I gave this a 9.5 and not a 10 is bc it's too short and ended too quickly. I feel like there was much more story to tell... perhaps that was the point though? Maybe the writers wanted this to truly feel like a slice of their lives? However, I really really want [need??] to see more story for the side characters at the end. Their storylines were just as engaging as the main!!!

Ohhhh that's an excellent point about the bulimia... I hadn't even thought about that! I don't think I recall anyone even trying to get her help for that and that's a very serious condition. They just criticized her for lying about the reason she stayed thin. Thanks for pointing that out!

I agree 100%. The ending was a little weird, but it only put a little dent in al the laughs I had throughout the series! I didn't rate it a 10, but I can totally understand if someone did!

As a romantic, this drama hits me so hard. I'm loving it so far and feel like I'll start it all over again once the final episodes air.

In the end I felt that was the overall point of this drama- to criticize beauty discrimination. For that, I think they did a good job, but the acting and storyline could have been much better and it would have been a better drama overall to me.

I was actually afraid to say that, but it's so true! I couldn't tell if it was bad direction or but his character was so dry and just I couldn't get into him here, but he's SO much more dynamic in True Beauty.

So far I MUCH prefer True Beauty to this. I've laughed so much and enjoyed the characters so much with True Beauty - not so much here.

I never say things like this, but go ahead. I guarantee you aren't missing anything sadly.

I wouldn't consider telling a complete story spoon-feeding... there were too many gaps and assumptions to make it make sense honestly.

Mr. Sunshine is an amazing show. The cinematography, acting, wardrobe AND writing/storyline were all above average and excellent in my opinion. This drama didn't give me what I needed where the writing/storyline is concerned, but I honestly don't think you'll be disappointed by Mr. Sunshine!

Hmm that's an interesting thought... I could have sworn the issue when he couldn't get back to her a few episodes ago was that he could only travel latterly through worlds but not thru time with only half the flute- that's why he could only go between worlds until he and the prince were together and that's how he got back thru time to 1994...

I'll just add this to my growing list of things that may never make sense about this show haha!

And.... if he could go back, why wouldn't he go back to before his dad was killed??? But that's neither here nor there I guess, ugh...

Can someone please help. I am just now watching the final episode and I'm confused. I thought you had to have both pieces of the flute to go back to 1994. How did the King and Yeong get there AND Tae Eul and the Prince?

Agreed 100%! Which is so strange! Why put so much great development into supporting characters and almost nothing into your main leads? I NEVER felt our female lead's character was fully flushed out and the bit we did know about her got wishy washy as her relationship went on. It's like love made her less tough, less thoughtful in her actions and less wise!
