See this sounds like the ending of LOST- from which I still suffer from PTSD (no lie) ... I don't know if I can handle another time where a dream sequence attempts to cover up for poor writing and unanswered questions...

Now you're right here. He's got the best storyline and character development. That's real.

I'm finally letting myself finish episode 15 and when the prince shouted, "You should be scared! Why are you idiots making such choices?" I burst out laughing thinking- that's what we're all saying to the writers!!! Hahaha!

Can we just all agree that Woo Do Hwan is the best thing on the show??? Best thing this crew ever did was cast him... after that... just throw the whole show away haha???

Ok I get the future self, past self logic you've provided, but the problem is that should have been his end! This story line is assuming that what? His past self DIDN'T kill his 2020 self this time around??? I mean, if the king went back and his story line is largely unchanged (even though they tried to do a sad job of explaining that away) then the prince's life should also be the same and should have ended right then and there.

I mean... I haven't even been able to finish episode 15 because it's pure nonsense! Can someone PLEASE help me understand how the evil prince is still alive??? If he killed himself then that's a closed loop. It makes no sense whatsoever that the king ends up in the exact same place, but somehow the prince isn't dead. I'm serious. If anyone has answers, please help me out.

You know... this drama was set up perfectly: great cast, seemingly huge budget, and an AMAZING starter plot line. I was loving it! But literally every single episode has gotten worse and worse since about 9 or 10 and honestly don't see 1- how this could happen and 2- how this can be redeemed. It's so unfortunate because i believe there is no fault on the actors, the production crew and DEFINITELY not the wardrobe and stylist group. The fault here seems to be solely on the writing crew for me... such a disappointment...

Same here! It wasn't until a couple episodes before for me either- great set up and great character development. The actor has done a great job, but his part was very well written. It's quite interesting to me that the side characters seem better developed than the main ones...

OK help me out here guys. Is the woman who's still alive the Prime Minister??? I thought it was the other girl and the PM was still alive in the Republic of Korea, but when they showed her dead I got completely confused! Help!

Oh goodness!!! I had forgotten all about the opening scene!!! How will that ever happen at this point! This is an absolute mess. They've spent so much time and money on this drama only for the writing to be this sloppy... it's upsetting.

I agree!!! Why on EARTH would he kill himself???? If he knows it's him from the future didn't he realize he was just ending his path??? Did he think it was him from the alternative universe??? Just nothing about that makes sense to me.

So torn on my rating here. It was such a fun drama and the leads were great characters (except honestly the main female lead), but the story felt lacking- ESPECIALLY the ending. Watch this if you need a fun drama that's sure to give you some laughs.

Oh you're right!!!! I'm rewatching now actually and I haven't gotten to that part, but yes! When they died I was truly hurt because it was so sad and also because it didn't have to happen! If she had trusted him and told him they were there it could have been avoided, but she blindly trusted her vision instead...?

I want to love the 8th prince, but his love was SO weak in every single case ‐ starting with not being able to say I Love You to his wife who died and all the way up until he couldn't support and love IU's character correctly! He infuriates me because I really think he THINKS he loved these women, but it was such a weak and pathetic love without the conviction needed to sustain it.

I've never seen or heard of them if they exist... if anyone hears of this please post a link immediately!

Life is too short- rewatch whatever as soon as you get the urge!
