I put this off for the LONGEST and finally broke down and watched it... I will never understand the people who praised this drama and/ or constantly rewatch it. This is as bad as it gets; annoying characters, nonsensical storyline, and an ending that makes no sense aka they don't bother explaining what happened to other characters. I could never recommend this so I don't get how others could recommend this to me. Yes, I love the possessive ml trope but that doesn't matter when the entire story is basically trash. (dramacool)

They take out anything that's lgbt+ so the writers and producers have to work around that. This is not the first drama that has been censored, The Untamed, Word of Honor and many more bl dramas have been edited.

I usually leave my own comment when I finish a show but you pretty much said everything that needed to be said. If this had more angst and was less cheesy this would have been a home-run of a romance drama. I'm assuming since there was so much skin-ship, they had to make it more cheesy so as to not move into that adult-rated area that would have this airing at 11/12 at night. 5.5 for the production and pretty cast... that's it. This was a bait and switch and I feel absolutely cheated. They led us on with something that would be sultry and sexy from the trailers, something to essentially rival KinnPorsche- this did not deliver AT ALL! They gave us a predictable and down right incoherent storyline and then have the nerve to say there will be a season 2?! The audacity. The time I wasted on this- I want it back and then some. Yea, I tend to watch historicals if I watch a Chinese drama simply because modern day ones are so cringe. The only modern drama I watch is anything with Victoria Song because she portrays a strong fl type and the writing tends to be actually good.
