I see why people complain about that ending, it was not my favorite either BUT this drama is still worth the watch even for the actors and the politics of office work. I enjoyed it and love watching Shinohara as a young actress. Recently finished a new drama she was in (Fishbowl Wives) and she is still killing it. (dramacool)

I HIGHLY recommend Heard it Through the Grapevine- like it's the quintessential Korean rich family and their power dynamic that is as real as it gets. It's so good but slept on cause I feel it's more serious and not as makjang-y. Money Flower is great but be warned the last episode, imho, ruined the entire drama and the same can be said with Misty.
So after watching, dropping, then picking it up years later and binge watching- this was not that bad. Def not as great as people may say but still worth the watch. The story became repetitive at times, lagged, and then the ending felt a bit rushed in the final episode. I still find TMoPB to be superior to this and after watching this it reminded me of Good Bye, My Princess. When it comes to both of those dramas, I say watch them instead of this if you had to choose. TMoPB is better storyline and acting wise while Good Bye is better in the obsessive ml aspect. (viki)
Just finished it and I gave it an 8 (im a tough grader). The story was good but it lagged for a couple episodes before rushing at the end. Not bad but def not up there with TMoPB.
Def not my fav out of the HIStory series as this one has some... idk, weird vibes, but still not horrible in the way of bl storytelling. I gave it a 7.5 for the acting of Lin Chia Wei as his acting was chefs kiss and the fact that here were some steamy scenes as well, so really this is a 6.5. Watch it or don't, you're not really missing anything imho. (dramacool)

Chile I have binge watching this since I made my comment lol I wouldn't say it's as good as TMoPB BUT I do love the storyline and the actors are doing a fantastic job.
Starts off well but it ends up dragging as the mains do nothing but fight. As previous commenters stated, it gets boring and dull. The cast is great tho and the mains have great chemistry but as I stated, this drags endlessly until the end. I honestly wouldn't recommend it unless you like the actors, otherwise pass as there are other dramas with this storyline that are better paced. (dramacool)
I gave this a higher score partly because the storyline and also because I love Tokiwa's acting. Unfortunately the leads didn't have much chemistry with each other and as always the side couple shined more brightly in the romance even though they didn't have much screen time together. I honestly think they should remake this but given the dark subject matter, I doubt it will get made. I recommend this but def for a more mature audience. (dramacool)
Started this 3 years ago and put it on hold after 4 episodes. Trying again from the start since I hear nothing but good things about it; hope I can make it through to the end. It it's anything like TMoPB then I should be fine. (dramacool)
