This was a whole lotta NOTHING! Like... this had no substance. It's like eating cotton candy when you're really hungry. Yea, you're eating but it's not satisfying your appetite. So yea you're watching a movie but there is no story-line. It sucks cause this seriously had potential and I could have seen this as a drama more so than a single movie. It's always these movies with the not so strong story-lines that end up with the best production/ visuals and I'm always confused by that. Anyway, watch it or don't watch it- you're not really missing out on anything spectacular. (iqiyi)

Title Sky of Love
Watched this years after watching the drama series, which I gave a really bad grade, and I didn't mind this one too much. The story is exactly the same as Koizora but I guess the pacing is more enjoyable for me as I just couldn't stand the drama. (viewasian)

Brother Beat seems like an odd addition to this... but it was a cute drama anyway.

Reminded me of 'In the Realm of the Senses' with the leads only caring about their basic instincts, only not as brutal. Not that deep of a movie but I found it alright for what it was.

OK. So I love Japanese dramas- they are pretty much my go-to and are my standard when comparing dramas from other countries (you wouldn't know it at my current watchlist as I'm downing myself in S.K. dramas but I digress). BUT I can absolutely admit that when a Taiwan drama is done right- it pretty much knocks everyone else out of the water. Like seriously, I am shocked and amazed at just how good Taiwan's story-telling is. It's the perfect blend of serious-ness that the Japanese do so well coupled with the fluffy/ shiny packaging S.K. does so well. Like I can't 100% describe it but they just have that je n'ais ce quoi.

I feel Taiwan's dramas don't get a lot of attention because they are, for lack of a better term, over-shadowed by Japan, China, and S.K. and in all honesty it's a shame. I've watched more than 3 dramas (yea I'm talkin about you Akage Girl lol) but I could definitely incorporate more Taiwan dramas in my repertoire. I gotta say I appreciate this article shinning a light on an over looked country- good looking out.

I was bored after watching the first 2 episodes, was still unimpressed by episode 4, and now we are now up to episode 6 and I want to drop this. The plot/ story-line is so messy and disjointed that it leaves me scratching my head, the leads have absolutely no chemistry (the kiss is textbook wooden, bland, girl is wide-eyed not kissing back horrible), too many characters that are bogging down the story. It's too much and not enough if you get what I'm saying.
The production is like A1 and that is the show's only saving grace... except for Do Hwan- this guy needs a staring role in a good drama (let's NOT talk about The Great Seducer). I want this show to prove me wrong but we are almost at the half way point and it shows no sign of getting better.

At this very moment I'm watching episode 2 and I must say this is right up my alley. I like my dramas dark and gritty and this is exactly that. I haven't read the article cause I don't want to read any spoilers but so far this drama is LIT! I'm loving how real and raw the characters are.- nothing glossy and fake over here. This show has me anxious and nervous af but also excited at what will happen next for these questionable characters.

Awesome article but the question is how to get over it? Almost one year and I'm still smiling like crazy just…
Seriously, the best way of getting over a drama that has really impacted you is to start watching a bunch of other dramas. I find that helps.

Just came here to say:
1. That first photo is my laptop's wallpaper ^_^
2. Xue Yang is the best villain I've ever had the pleasure of hating/ loving. I would love to see him have his own spin-off
3. This IS a love story and people claiming it as a bromance need to get a grip.
4. I wish China would meet the rest of the world in the 21st century and allow bl dramas to shine. Before the ban they easily made the best content but now it's gone to Thailand.

That's all I had to say, thanks for coming to my TED talk.

My Hanzawa Naoki 2 ;(((( as if 5 years weren't enough....This suspens is killing me
This is a real bummer. Look how long we asked for a sequel, get it, now it's been post-postponed... 2020 really has been a crappy year.

Hi, this is a long shot but by any chance do you remember when(around which eps) the romance between Zhen Huan…
Yea I watched this years ago so I don't remember which episode but I think it's towards the end. She left the palace and they had an affair for a bit. If you're ONLY watching for that romance then don't bother as it doesn't last very long. The drama itself is amazing though.

Title Mood Indigo
This was so... moody. The title really matches the vibe of the show- indigo. Like I felt bad for Rio from the start, since I watched Pornographer and got a bit of his story, but there was just no break in the sad mood at all. I recommend watching this after Pornographer as it will make more sense when you're watching it. (viewasian)

Is this a lot better than „seven of Me“ because i also only watched the chinese remake 2 years ago and i‘m…
Like I stated, I recommend this one. It's good that you let some time pass between so you may have forgotten some scenes and it won't be as predictable but then again some parts will jog your memory.

Person Kim Eun Sook
I’ve only seen Goblin by her but seriously that’s all it took for me to confidently say and believe; this…
Could not agree more. Looks like her new drama, The King, is giving us more of the same crappy writing -_- This lady really needs to stop.
This is horrible lol
First epi is typical low budget Chinese bl that I've grown use to then after that- horror movie. The director and editor didn't care about this X-D and it shows. As much as I love me some bl, please don't waste your time with this one- can't stress that enough. (youtube)

*the based on real events are the news stories of people being killed for being homosexual- those actually happened
