Not bad but there were just one too many moments of characters waxing poetic that made me lose my attention. I'm not gonna lie and just flat out say I watched this for Sorimachi... he never fails to amaze me.
Started off strong then became a bit messy towards the end... idk. But even so, this movie was really good. The twists and turns were great along with the acting. It's like Inception or Shutter Island where you don't know whats really going on and even if you think you do, you're wrong lol
I don't get why the great under-rated dramas like have low scores while the more "popular" but trash ones have higher scores. *sighs* Just goes to show most mdl users wouldn't know a good drama if it slapped them in the face. Besides the story being so very entertaining to watch (nearly busted a gut from laughter), the major plus about this show is the music. OMG THE MUSIC!! It's not he same song played over and over like they do nowadays but different songs that ACTUALLY fit the mood. I was literally floored at the song choices. KUDOS! I HIGHLY recommend this one.
If Shakespeare wrote kdrama, this would be the one.
It wasn't until I finished this drama that I understood this comment (and totally agree with it). It's like A Midsummer's Dream/ Taming of the Shrew vibes.
Watching this for Lee Sun Gyun's voice lolSadly Lee Sang Yeob's character screams too much
Seriously, I started to notice his voice in epi 3. It's calming a relaxing yet sexy too. Him and Kai Wang have amazing voices. Lee's character is just hilarious too me so I don't mind the screaming.
This had me guessing until the very end. The person who did it... I would have NEVER guessed lol. I found the progression to be a bit slow, like a lot was going on but then at the same time nothing was going on.
This was so sweet! I really liked it when they would show the flashback of how they met and fell in love as kids. I want to describe this drama as quiet and peaceful. Nothing dramatic happens... really nothing much does happen but it still had me captivated. Would def recommend.
Narimiya can't do wrong huh? lol This was my firs time seeing him with black hair and playing a "normal" role. He tends to do those crazy/ yankee/ bad boy roles so this was refreshing. (sucks he quit acting)
Had like a weird Inception- type vibe. Def an interesting story that's not all that scary (minor jump scares) The ending had me crying though... I recommend it.
This was refreshing in a way that we never see these kinds of stories being told in dramas. In the beginning I was excited and really into what was happening but then I did start to lose interest. I feel like more could have been done but to keep it light they didn't divulge further. All in all its still a great drama and I would recommend it.
Why this has a high score- I don't know. I really have to question the mindset of some of mdl users... I watched this because reading the synopsis it sounds really interesting and then it has a high score, so its like ok, this must be good- its not. Its bad. Very Very bad.
The acting is bad (except for Joe Xu and Viann Zhang- they were a delight), the writing is bad, the directing is bad. The only thing this show has going for it is the costumes and sets.
The after the credits there is a hint of there being a sequel- they have a nerve! -_- So, if you like glossy, high quality shows with absolutely no substance then this is the show for you.
Saito Takumi aka Mr. Steal Yo Girl- at it again!! ugh lol This drama had me captivated from the jump but the last epi was so anti-climatic. With the way things were going I was for sure thinking someone would die, but nope. I think a tragic ending would have been better... Would I recommend it? I guess... if you have nothing better to watch at the moment. Its not all that great but its not bad either.
Came in not expecting much from this but I thoroughly enjoyed this show. It was hella funny yet also had its heartwarming bits. I would love to watch more shows like this. Besides the deep and heavy dramas that I tend to watch, these light-hearted comedies are my favs.
