I found this by looking for TMoPB as well and after reading the synopsis I added it to my list. Finally finished watching it and I really liked it. The leads had great chemistry and with that crap ending, I'm glad there will be a season 2 in the modern world.
This was hilarious. Don't go in taking this movie seriously- I'm sure the people involved with it didn't X-D This was on my watch list for the longest (hesitant to watch) but finally I did and I really enjoyed it.

I must be one of the very few people who actually watched the original and LOVED it! It aired on HBO, a channel that is quality over quantity, and because of it's success even had its own movie (which is kinda rare here in the States). I'm gonna have to pass on this one simply cause I don't think it could do the original justice, the low score it has, and also the below commenters not really saying anything to make me want to watch it.
