Lately, the drop in episode quality made me a little afraid of how the finale would turn out. But surprisingly, the final episode got better! It might be sad that the second couple got a tragic ending, but from my perspective, it's the best ending they could have received. If Chitta kept living happily after all those killings, it definitely wouldn't have made sense.
I’m not even understanding or feeling satisfied with the ending of Episode 9. It feels like the show isn’t as tightly packed or logical as it was before.
Ken brought Dr. Chita there, and they had agreed that they were going to die. Then suddenly James came. Okay, maybe James was following Ken, so that part makes sense. But when James was trying to convince Ken to change his decision, what was Chita doing? It wasn’t a romantic scene, and James was also there to catch or kill Chita, so why was she just standing there without even trying to escape?
Maybe Dr. was on the other side because of that, but then when Dr. covered Chita, James shot Dr. Why? And Ken didn’t do anything—he just stood there watching.
I saw that someone was detaining Ken, but Ken is a Nour. He should have been able to easily escape and stop James from shooting Dr.
And Chita’s last line to Dr. after hearing his backstory—“Now you understand me”—doesn’t make sense to me either. He killed every Noir, both the good and the bad, without any real motivation. Then you made your own lover into a Nour. How does any of that make sense or make his actions understandable?
Yea I did feel the romance talking was misplaced not unnecessary though. I was like someone’s life is at stake…
Yes, it feels like the director wanted to give us more romantic scenes because we liked their chemistry, so they tried to focus more on that. However, we also like the plot, which still needs to be taken seriously and kept as the main focus
Did you watch all the episodes in full length? In that, James is clearly asking Ken why he hid that he knew all this time that Nour is real and which ones were Nour.
Do u mean this Justice in the Dark have cut scenes than cases between us?
No what I mean cases between us has more affection between ML than justice in dark , specially in their looking . May be because of cut scenes in justice in dark
Just finished this after Cases Between Us. Even though it is taken from a BL novel, the affection between the main characters is not as strong or well-maintained as in Cases Between Us, even though that one isn't based on a BL novel. I think this is mainly due to cut scenes; there are a lot of cut scenes which make the character connection feel less impactful.
I would say the Chinese industry has the best BL stories, but it can't make them mainstream. At least I wish they could use these BL stories to make BL less censored on international platforms, which would do justice to the story.
