Omg, i have just watched 10eps and I feel everything what you wrote here. Like literally but yes, i wasn't liking Dan Oh's acting from the start but was acceptable and then it only kept going like 'Haru Ha-Ru' and crying.

I am finished 16episodes (8 in Netflix) and i am already starting to lose interest. 8th episode was all 'you're Ha-Ru' on repetitive mode. Even though the storyline is unique it didn't intrigued me but because of my friends saying it's good and i should watch it, i started it. Starting episodes were good and i thought maybe i I judged it wrong when I didn't want to watch. then after Ha-Ru disappeared it's going down the hill. I don't regret not watching this bck then too. And most of the things you said are my thoughts. Just in 1 ep (8th) the scenes were very repetitive and it started annoying me. But as per a comment from DumasB, i think it makes sense that he doesn't have much about his character becoz of he is just an extra. I have to continue first and come back again. But I think I am gonna skip a lot as i have as already started doing so from 8th ep...😛

That's why I didn't watch. And now when I wanted to give it a try nd saw trailer, his voice is dubbed. A big let down. So decided not to watch. And i have no complaints about not being able to watch since i enjoyed anime more and i rarely prefer anime adaptations into live action.

I suggest you to watch anime of this than drama. It is really good. I wanted to give it a try but gave up as soon as soon I heard YYs voice. That's great setback... No way I can watch him with dubbed voice.

Is it the role she is playing or actual actress? If it is role, i totally agree. She was almost like a sooiled unruly idk what to call that. Except for males, females are sooiled ones in this series. FL doesn't look like she has any mannerism. And the way she was trying to fight with ML about staying at his home and he let it be... That was already getting ridiculous. Hu Na is one rich sooiled brat, His secretary is odd, his patient is odd. His brother's fiancee is emo. there was not a single likable character in this whole series.

Su Ying was also a good character in this dramas out of all women.

I just came to check here to see if that her school crush is actually male lead and was surprised to see the ratings. It's 7.4 XD. Idk if it really deserves this rating. I agree with all your points except idk about FLs perspective about her dating multiple guys. But they did mention they she was yes to those thinking that she will eventually like them at some point but really, if you don't reciprocate others feelings ofc they will dump you buy again you can't even lie if you don't like someone. All in all the ML is trash. I was thinking that ML would be SL and SL will be ML but now that I see your comment and actors on the list here that her school crush is ML. It was very annoying to watch and I played it on 1.5X even though I wasn't paying much attention as I was watching it while working (perks of wfh lol). I am at ep 4, I will probably only watch it for SL and there's no other reason to continue it.

I saw Korean drama in here but I was in mood of movie then. It was good. It's not happy happy type. Actually both re tragedy type movies. And liked them both.

I tried to search for similar dramas to UL (2019) but then ended up watching Cry me a sad river and Soul mate movie.

I tried to read the novel. I read a few chapters. And the scene where HuaiNan says that he doesn't accept money from that kids parents is actually there and it says that her eyes were filled with tears. And there ar few other things which are same as novel in 2021 ver. But still I somehow liked 2019 ver. 😅😅 Idk why.

And also Zhang MingRui and BaiLi were really great in the 2019 version unlike here. Zhang MingRui backed off when other girls approached him for HuaiNan. He Didn't say anything. But here he punched him in the face XD. LuoZhi's wittyness was really good in the old ver. She kept her composure everytime and didn't even show that she liked him when she met him for the first. They way she helped him in everyway possible in the old version like you said we could know why she felt bad when she was told that she did all those to approach him and etc. And BaiLi was a really good friend to her and same goes for LuoZhi. They had that good bond nad even HuaiNan and Zhang MingRui. I don't like how she is being clingy in this version and nagging what she did for him and stuff. And LuoZhi showed that self respect and more important to her and BaiLi did the same as the time went by. She learnt she should have some self respect and gave upon him herself. There are so many positive points in 2019 ver which lack here

Every point you mentioned about 2019 version. I agree with them all. The character of LuoZhi was more mature like her mother taught her that she should be sensible and etc. In this version I am unable to like the FL at all. Like she cries infront of MingRui and even HuaiNan. She tried to copy everything thing HuaiNan toldto his friends like chopsticks and fatty meat. In 2019 ver. she just tried chopsticks and fatty meat story was hers and not HuaiNan. Like you it misses than genuine feeling. 100%. And window conversation wer really romantic and good in that version and back story or past they showed before each episode I really liked those. I could empathize more with 2019 version LuoZhi's character than this one. In 2021 ver. When she overhead the conversation about fatty meat and she started leaving the fatty meat it felt cringe and creepy. I kept watching 2019 version till morning 4 and finished. I didn't feel bored even though at the they just kept skipping year by year but there was nothing to show in those years probably. But this version isn't keeping on my toes or make me watch forgetting my sleep.
