They didn't show any other love interest for Jiang bai li even till the end after she left both Gu and Ge. But just Ge Bi kept texting her every day and she didn't respond that's all. The uncle didn't appear nowhere after the hotel room scene. And they even changed that scene.

Ming rui is good in 2019 version too and Jiang bai li as well. She learnt her lesson better than this clingy bai li. I was pulling my hair out watching her. No less for FL here too ofc.
