I literally laughed out loud in the midnight after reading your comment. I feel the same. But will try her other works if possible but her role in this drama is frustrating.

Usually anime are better than dramas when there are adaptations like this. But I guess it's better I don't go for anime then.

Here, it was unrequited so probably nothing happened if the feelings were mutual, things would turn out differently

It actually seemed like Kenta was more interested in/liked Kiyo. And sumire liked Kenta. So my understanding about both the situations is right. Does anime show anything more clear answers to this? Or is it just same (if you have watched)

1. Sumire liked Kenta but left the place because she wanted to be with sumire? And she also wanted to become maiko.... And Kiyo just followed her.

(Kenta seemed more attentive towards Kiyo to me)

2. Asuze liked the professor guy and bar guy liked asuza? It's clear that professor and asuza's feelings were mutual but didn't get the bar guy when Azusa's says sorry to him and breaks news that her mother might get married and he is shocked that she knew long before.

I had few doubts as well. When it came to their friendship. Sumire liked Kenta, and Kenta seemed to be bent towards Kiyo... Idk if that's just me. I noticed it when they showed sumire's past clip first time when she was asked by momoko that she was in love.

The scenes with his brother and meeting are some points which kinda seem off to me. Only in that part, i don't really like his acting probably. The rest is all good.

I don't think I have watched her modern dramas either. But i wish she didn't give very girlish or 'acting cute' voice. I am still at ep 1. And I already can't stand it.

All those replies gave me headache when that person was calling others disgusting. I get that grooming is wrong but age gap still exits and it's a personal choice who people chose and what age difference they are okay. But this person is being extra rude and slapping their opinion on everyone's face.

Because of the reason (FL and voice), i having second thoughts about watching. I just have 5mins left of 1st ep but idk if I am ready to watch it now

I am quite shocked that she used her own voice in this drama. I just started this drama and yang mi appeared, like probably 15mins to end the ep, and I thought, this time they dubbed her voice with someone. Coz I found her voice better in previous work. Here it's too girlish that it's giving me headache. If that's how it's going to be all the series, i might wanna stop watching and pick up when I have lots of patience and don't pay much attention to it.

I was about to drop as well at ep 5 or after that but I somehow finished watching it. It totally depends on your mood. If you are okay with more side stories. Etc.
