Yea personally I really appreciated the astonishing visuals that the movie presented as well as the visuals of both leads. Yes the story was definitely flawed due to it being too rushed and everything for people who don't know the story. But for people who have seen the drama this was definitely a interesting experience in a good way.
I don't really get where all the hate is coming from since the series honestly just been amazing, giving cliffhangers every episode.
but i guess it always happens to popular series.... anything thats popular just comes with an equal amount of hate... i've seem to realise this weird endless cycle.

OMG I just watched ep 5/6, it's getting so good, why did they have to cut it. The story was a slow build up, this is where it gets better, honestly and they're cutting it by 4eps, that's legit has potential to ruin a good drama. FML
If it was sitting on a 7 from eps 1-4, legit right now its legit on a 9/10 for eps 5/6. I'm so hooked and super pissed that they're shortening the drama.
I really like the changes they did in this version, especially how they gave them a childhood storyline, which would explain tenten's coldness at the start, as well as the fact that tenten has a more expressive/warm personality. But I think I still like the jap version more, cause in this version, sometimes I was so confused with the cause of events and why things were happening. One second its all happy and things seem to go well, then it doesn't. The choices tenten make sometimes also confused me as well. However these can generally be forgotten and I LOVE this version, since tenten defs shows more emotions.
Since they changed the story so much, this can legit be viewed as a separate drama than a remake, which is also part of the reason why I still like Jap version better since while i like the changes, it was changed so much that the original story was kinda lost. However still good! :)
That being said, this will officially be the 2nd best version of itakiss for me :)

Yes. This drama is definitely one of those where it just gets better the second time you watch it, since so many things are clear to you and you catch on more details, which were missed the first time you watch it.
Wait, are we even on the same page. The FBI died cause 'Kira' killed them. Light killed them cause they were going to expose his identity. Light had to die anyway, since this show basically tells you how much 'power' can corrupt a person, like you said before. Kira was basically a person can will kill off anyone just to keep his identity hidden, if Near didn't expose him in the end, he was gonna kill off the whole police crew. Honestly were we watching the same show. I'm so confused.

Honestly, I think it's definitely worth it. Since you've seen the anime I really recommend you to watch it with an open mind, don't compare it too much as I said in my review, they made some drastic changes to L's character.
Though it's honestly a really awesome drama in general so definitely check it out.
And since it's only 11eps you wouldn't take too long either.

Yea, I agree. Though while it was brutal I guess it kinda reflects on what happens in the end if you go pass the point of no return for 'power', since he basically was completely psycho judging from the scene with his dad. There was no turning back for him.
