Indeed. They really cannot see what consequences their actions had. Especially to Pran, I think he was the one who recieved the most pain. I am glad now that Pat is there for him and he has a shoulder to cry on. And honenstly I am glad they will leave. I think they need a break from their parents. And the parenrs need to get their shit together (excuse my language).

The reason is different from the novel, I believe, among other things like the next preview.
If I had to choose side, I think Pran's mother is right. Ming really did destroy her future and the schrolarship ended up in vain since he took over the business. However, I am very disappointed in them. Because of their problem, they involved their children. This is not what parents should do. Honestly they need to grow up and let their children be happy.

Wai.....ahhh.....if he was responsible for the curtain (last scene)....I just think If he was my bf, it would be difficult for me to forgive him. However, Pran is really sensitive, mature and kind... I think he would.

I will not comment on episode 8 but on preview of episode 9.
I am feeling very disappointed and angry of Pran and Pat's friend. Even if they kept their relationship a secret, if they were true friends they should not have reacted like this. They should have been happy for them. I am feeling very conficted now if such friends are keepers. It only shows how much Pran and Pat means to them. So disappointed, so very disappointed.

Honestly, I understand everything Wai is feeling. This is understantable. However, if he was the one that dropped the curtain, let me just say I am feeling disappointment and anger. And let me just say this, it doesn't seem a coincidence that every friend is there. It seems more a well planned revenge of Wai. Of course that is just a thought. Anyway, Wai as his friend should have given him the benefit of the doubt and talk to him. I cannot by any means justify his action, even if understand his feelings. Let me just say that his action will probably be the gun of their seperation. The ones who are gonna fire the gun is their parents. Its quite possible that since everyone knows now, their parents will find out soon enought due to this revelation. So I have to say congratulations to Wai for breaking his best friend's heart when it has just started healing. If I was Pran, I would not want to see his face again. Pran never betrayed him. His relationship with Pat was a secret for a reason. And everyone has a secret. Being best friend with somone does not mean he has to tell him everything. Moreover, if he was his friend he should have talked to him and not do such an ass move.

CONCLUSION: IF WAI WAS RENSPONSIBLE, I CANNOT JUSTIFY HIS ACTION EVEN IF I UNDERSTAND HIS FEELINGS. HE SHOULD HAVE TALKED TO PRAN. AND HIS ACTION IS GOING TO BRING MUCH PAIN TO PRAN'S HEART. EVERYONE PREPARE YOUR HEARTS, PAIN WILL FOLLOW.

That's wrong. Pran is not a coward. If he was he wouldn't start the relationship in the first place. Pran just sees the reality of their relationship which doesn't have a bright future. If they go public, the parents will find out and if the parenta finds out, hell gonna break loose. And this will bring pain and heartbreak to Pran, he will be forcefully broken apart from his loved one and who knows what else. Right now, what Pran wants is to be with him before his parents and especially his mother finds out. He has already seperated once from him, so he knows the consequences and yet he dares starts the relationship. Pran is not a coward, but brave.
Pat is not brave, he is naive and fool. He doesn't realise that going public will bring pain to Pran and himself. Goind public basically means its over. Its not that he does not care, he just connot realise what his action will bring. He is still immature, unlike Pran, and thats because he did not go through the pain Pran went when the separated in high school. You could say that Pran had opened his eyes at that time. And he definately doesn't know how to handle this. Don't forget that Pran and Pat are still depending on their parents, so they can def not break away from them.
Personally I am againts it goinf public FOR NOW, they should at least enjoy it first before the parents interfere. And if this was a real story they should first get indepentent and then tell their parents.

Personally, I believe viewers should not bring their character to their personal life. It's of course reasonable to ship two characters together but I find it wrong to push two actors together because of their chemistry in the show. We must always respect their privacies and wishes. The two actors might feel uncomfortable because of it. I am talking in general and not about Pran-Nanon and Pat-Ohm. However, if I am honest myself, I always got happy when two characters I ship in a show got together in real life.

Honestly, this ain't high school. They should act as adults. This is just foolish and annoying for us to see. Hopefully they won't create trouble for the couple (very doubtfull).

Worst case scenario, things will start going bad maybe like part 3 or part 4 of episode 8. I think, considering the pain we will go through, we deserve 2 or 3 happy episodes.

Honestly what I have predicted is this:
Episode 6: The bet
Episode 7 & 8: Romantic staff - happy episodes
Episode 9: Sad episode (according to the trailer there should be something sad before the complete pain). Maybe this will start at the middle or end of episode 8 and be resolved at episode 9 while episode 10 is about being exposed to their parents and forcefully being broken apart. Maybe the ending of episode 9 is being discovered by their parents.
Episode 10: Resolving the issue of episode 9, discovered by parents - heartbreak
Episode 11: heartbreak
Episode 12: heartbreak, reunion, getting back together, happy ending.

All in all, I think the pain will start from episode 9 and get worse in each episode until episode 12.

So I have two questions. Why are Pat's friends and Pran's friends always fight? And what's with the hate? I really don't understand what's wrong with them. So it's very annoying to always see this. Be adults and don't act as children.
Secondly, is it true that Pran's smell is so good that Pat always smells him. I like to smell him as well. Honestly, if he acts like this, I wonder how he will act when Pran is naked, next to him.

We should also start preparing for the heartbreak now. Since the kiss happened, the pain shall soon follow.

Honestly, I think now they can tell how important is each one to each other. The kiss practically proved that their feelings are mutual and they are longing for each other. So it explains Pat's smile at the end of the kiss. He confirmed that Pran loves him and probably loved him for a long time. On the other hand, Pran is feeling very conflicted right now. He is happy that now Pat loves him and it is not one sidee love, but he is sad because he thinks their relationship cannot be. That probably stems from his parents. They hate to see their son Pran being close to their enemies son Pat. I suppose its pretty much the reason why he changed school in the past. He is probably avoiding his love just to protect himself from harm. I mean, if his parents were to find out about this, the will repeat the same thing as they did in the past without caring for his son's feelings. I suppose that when Pran moved out in the past, this probably hurt him very much and that's the time he decided to raise up his shield. I don't blame him for that, I blame his parents for not realising how much their actions hurt Pran. I would say Pran's heart is still wounded but this kiss started the process of healing. That's why at the end of the kiss, we saw Pran's relief and sadness. He knows that even if they love each other, they are destined to be broken apart by their parents. As I have said he had the exprerience of that, and he doesn't want to start a relationship that will end up hurting both of them. However, Pat, as I have seen, doesn't care about the future, but he cares for the present. He wants to be with him now, but I am not sure if he shares the same worries as Pran. So I believe that Pat probably understands the conflict in Pran's mind and the situation he is in. So the next episode Pat will be trying to convince Pran not to care about the possible future heartbreak. However, for Pran is easier than done. Pran knew of his feelings of Pat since high school, so being forcefully broken apart from him, wounded his heart (and his heart is still wounded).
Some people might not understand the bet between them since their feelings for each other are obvious now. So my hypothesis from before that Pat's doing it just to be close to Pran and do a few romantic things for him while Pran accepts them is wrong. Now I see the bet as an excuse for each other to be close to each other and if they get caught they can say is a bet. They both know that this is a lost bet in their mind, but they still do it. Why? Just so they can be together and do stuff a couple does. If they get caught, they get caught competing so maybe they will not be hurt. However, I suppose things kinda got complicated, their feelings got stronger day by day so the bet will lose its value. So maybe Pran will try distancing himself (though this will be a futile effort). These are predictions so maybe they won't happen.

And you know what, they succeeded. I mean people do put their crush's name as password. I thought this was the case. I was nervous then how he will explain this to Pat and how Pat will react. What if they hurt each other? Thankfully, it wasn't the case.

Dear viewers, let me add my comment on episode 5 as well.
1. I hope I wasn't the one who got a heart attack at the first minutes of the episodes because of that scene. And the scene I am talking about is none other when Pran started telling the password of his computer to Pat. When he said "P" and then saw his expression, I was like "Shit, don't tell me its Pat name or something about Pat. Don't tell it". My heart was racing at that moment. However, the pasword was "Pransocool". When he continued after "P" with "RAN", I was like "Jesus, that was so close".
2. Honestly, the events of the episode wasn't in the order I was expecting. I thought he would have realised his feelings after his confession to Ink, but it was the completely opposite. The moment he realised it was the scene in the music store. He truly thought about Pa's words at that moment and realised that he was doing them with Pran. He touched Pran and felt "sparks", he saw into his eyes, he wanted to know if he was taken, and lastly he wanted to get the hell out of there. He felt uncomfortable but that was because of these unknown to him feelings. Then he started questioning himself if he liked Pran. And the best part of this is when he went to Prans appartment to confirmed if he was jealous. I have to thank Wai here because he called Pran at this important moment. In these sequence of events, I was watching Pat with a smirk on my face. I was like "It took you long enough".
3. I definetely need to comment on the song. Very fitting and actually important. Pran was singing and looking at Pat and Pat was looking at Pran. This was like a silent confession. But when Pran stopped looking at him and looked at Wai, well Pat really got hurt there. What I saw in his expression is "I am the one who helped you write this song, not him. I am the one who should be there, not him. I am the one who should be singing this song with you, not him. I am the one who you should smile to, not him. I am the one who you should like, not him. HOW DARE HE TAKE MY PLACE". He def realise his feelings there but got hurt in the process. But this isn't truly Pran's fault. After that, his whole day was ruined and got even shittier when Pran won, when they met in that restaurant and when Wai brought Pran home. I kinda have to say he deserved it.
4. However, even after the events that took place in episode 4 that hurt him (I have to say here how the hell is it that everytime Pat and Ink are out, Pran is there watching them. I mean Jesus Christ, just give him a break. He is hurt enough) he made another mistake (a mistake of jealousy though) by almost spourting out everything in front of Wai and importantly telling him that THEIR song is a lousy one. Honestly, I thing Pran got stabbed there. Jealousy really makes things worst.
5. Last scene... the confession... the kiss.... I really lost counting of how many times I said "Shit". I really did not think they would kiss. And the kiss was so perfect. It showed everything and most importantly it showed the longing. I mean for how long did Pran wait for this. Pat def got happy because he confirmed that Pran loved him. Pran, on the other side felt happiness and sadness. Happiness because his feelings can finally be reciprocated. Sadness because he feels that this relationship cannot happen. And that showed after the kiss stopped and Pran cried and left. I think Pat understood the predicament he is in.
6. Lastly, THE KISS WAS PERFECT. I WAS LIKE KISS ME TOO. I WANT TO KISS YOU TOO. KISS ME TOO. That was how the kiss was perfect. Truly loved it. I really felt butterflies in my stomach.

Honestly, I kinda find it a little impossible for Pat to think of this plan considering he could not even realise his feelings. Maybe after realising his feelings got clever or maybe this is not his idea but someone's else.
But for now, I think the purpose of the bet is as I have told you, otherwise I really cannot think of something else. Considering Pran's personality, by participating in this bet, he really cannot refuse or avoid Pat romantic advancements. He needs to accept them and act the same way as Pat did. So it's a brilliant plan.

If you say this drama is not different from any other bls and there is nothing to watch, then what about other bls in which there are crazy bl fangirls and a bitch girl who tries to ruin their relationship? Honestly these bls are cliche and you can practically predict what's gonna happen even before the episode is release. Bad Buddy doesn't have this and I can tell that this drama could be closer to reality that any other cliche drama. Of course that is not the only thing this drama has, and other things are mentioned in the comment by @teetee827
It seems you really haven't paid attention to the story and you haven't understood the main story. Of course I am not judging. This drama might not be your type of drama to watch which is understandable.

It's actually quite simple. You should have realised by now Pran, even if he loves Pat, doesn't really want to be with him, so he is always avoiding and burying his feelings. Due to his parents he might think that Pat and Pran have to be always competitors and enemies. So the bet is a competition between them. Maybe Pat thought of this so he can change Pran's mind. "Since he always thinks that we must be competitors, then I will compete with him in love. Who ever shall fall in love first loses". In this way, Pat's purpose is to make Pran fall in love with him so they can be together and Pran won't be able to avoid it since they are competing.

You should forget the novel since the drama doesn't follow the novel.

Personally, I think this bet will take place in episode 6-7. Personally I think episode 5 will be a turning point to Pat for realising his feelings for Pran. However, I think Pran will not be an easy target considering his character and personality. He always avoids his feelings. So, presumably Pat will lead him to create this bet as a form of competition (since Pran himself might think they have to be competitors). In this way Pat will be able to change Pran's way of thinking, make him accept his feelings fully, and start a new type of intimacy between them. So it is a win-win situation. However, I should say Pat will be the biggest winner since he actually wants to be in a relationship with him (I suppose so) so the bet will allow him to be next to him, flirting with him, hugging him etc so he can make him fall in love with him (as the bet purpose).
