Honestly I haven't seen the trailer of the whole drama so I don't know about that. But according to the safehouse episode 5 is gonna be a turning point for Pat. Personally, I think this is a turning point becausw Pat will realise his feelings for Pran and he will start chasing after him. I think its obvious that Pran at the start he will be raising his defences but later on Pat will succeed.

I think we need to know a little more of the past to find out if Pran liked Ink. Personally, when Ink self intoduced her self in class years ago Pran didn't fall for her. And I don't think he had the time to fall for her as I have understood they had little interactions with each other (not sure though). Ink probably had more interactions with Pat. So for now I can't say that the jealousy and discomfort Pran felt was for Ink but rather for Pat. And honestly the fact that Pran asked Ink if he likes Pat and not if she likes someone, could shows us (apart from what you said) that Pran only focuses on Pat's feelings. So Pran knows he has feelings for Pat and he wanted to confirmed whether they are dating or not.

That is indeed correct. I mean he pretty much heard Ink saying that he doesn't like him. So I really don't understand why he would go and confess. Maybe it is a strand of hope or maybe it is something else. Maybe he went to Ink for guidance.
What I can say for sure if that Pat totally confused us all. We can see that he really likes Pran but some of his actions in episode 4 showed us that he is really oblivious to his feelings for Pran. And honestly Pat messed up big time. If he knows that he likes Pran and then tells him he likes Ink (without further explanation) a normal person would have answered like Pran or give a very neutral response. This is def not the way to get confirmation and the only thing achieved is heart break. I think this is reasonable to all people. Answer me, who goes to the person they like and tells them they like someone else? If he doesn't know he likes Pran, well he again messed up because he actually really likes Pran but told him he likes someone else.

That is in episode 5. Probably he will ask this question because he is in the middle of realising his feelings. Of course we don't know if this will happen after or before Pat's confession to Ink. But if we go according to the preview it should be after the confession (if there aren't any twists).

I would say it is his subconscious that asked Pran if he would have liked him however Pat misinterpreted the whole thing. That's why I am saying he doesn't know his feelings. You know I just thought of a funny thing. In the novel Pat slept with a girl because he got jealous watching Pran being close to his friend. What if in the drama, Pran sleep with a boy because of Pat's confession? Of course I don't think it's gonna happen because I don't think the writers want to complicate things when their relationship is already complicated (because of their parents). Now some of you think that the writers added Ink to complicated things but it is actually the opposite. Ink is the connecting link because he is gonna make Pat realised his true feelings while adding a sad element in the drama. This kinda uncomplicate things.

What you are saying is correct. But I think we should also consider the things we can't see. I mean that Pat really doesn't know that he likes Pran so being caught with Ink maybe he feels he was caught cheating (which he obviously didn't understand it or misinterpreting the whole thing with the things you said). Otherwise I don't think it was necessary to visit him just so he can give him his food. And if you look closely at Pat's expression at hus door, he was worried (but obviously he didn't know why or even the fact he was worried). Possibly all this feelings could have happen in his subconscious (he did not know but in some moments it was expressed, and I am not even going to add the fact that he was misinterpreting his feelings for Pran to Ink).

Honestly I would like to assume that he did the first thing you said (one wrong move will mess up their tentative friendship) and I think that he did make the ultimate mistake: HE CONFESSED HE LIKED ANOTHER PERSON. Personally if I was Pran, I would continue to pretend that I don't like him but the previous relationship I had with him well it is doomed to be somewhat different now. There would be no step of improvement. Just like it was, not less, not more.
