I just want to congratulate the costume department for their choice of colour palettes- portraying hua yong mainly in white (and subtle black accesories) and then switching to full black. This is a rare incidence as we know, many movies prefer colour and clothing to be directly expressive yet we rarely get to see subtlety with the picked colours. Deception as a clothing theme- how novel! Love the drama as well lol

Imagine someone saving your life(getting wounded in the process), saving your relationship with your step brother, encouraging the said brother when you are not there and what you do is to straight up humiliate him, make fun of his gift, try to shake his relationship with your brother. Your excuse: I wanted my brother to realise his feelings. My mind, my logic, my heart, my common sense and my gut is telling me that there is a little problem. Wouldn't you be better using your tricks on the brother rather than the poor guy? I was so angry that I talked to myself for 20 minutes straight. Where is the comedy bro, we skipped to angst real fast. Anyway imagine not clarifying your relationship with your step sibling just to make your saviour feel the 3rd wheel. Well, been so long since I have gotten this angry. They are good at getting on my nerves so 8/10.
