I'm not sure why but I care about every character except Strawberry LZX. Like others have pointed out, it might just be the actress. She's not bad but she isn't doing anything for me. I'm not really connecting with her. She also has no chemistry with Old Lin.
What Strawberry PZ did with Old Lin and the IOU was bad, but I can see where he's coming from. She did strike first with stealing the source code and ruining his company.
Also, it was supposed to be only him on this second jump and they made it pretty clear he had the idea to stay in Cheese with his parents even before the jump. So to have her accidentally tag along and ask him to return with her is pretty selfish of her; but to ask her to stay in Cheese is selfish of him.
I like this setup, but I'm not sure how these two could be a couple after this. Not to mention I never really felt that Strawberry PZ loved LZX like the Cheese one does.
The true test of this show will be ep3 as it will be carried entirely by Jimmy Sea. No more bad buddy cameos, no more OhmNanon, no more triggering our nostalgia as fans of BBS.
I really hope I am able to feel some more chemistry from Jimmy Sea because I genuinely like them but found nothing much interesting in Talay and Puen's characters so far.
I am more curious about Tess and Tun as characters and want to know how they are dealing with this switch in the alternate world.
Glad to see that I'm not the only one feeling this way.
Depending on how Ep3 goes I might need to stop watching this as it's airing and just binge once done.
I think that's probably all we'll see from Ohm and Nanon till maybe the ending episodes. Not gonna lie, parts 2,3,4 felt a little underwhelming to me except the Milk Love cameo bit.
Ep 3 onwards will probably be all JimmySea. I'm just worried about the fact that there are 10 more episodes to fill. I hope there's enough in the plot to keep us interested all the way through.
What’s even happening in this show? I just saw some spoilers regarding the end of ep 14 and I’m just glad I dropped this much earlier. This must be one of my biggest disappointments of 2022
no, absolutely not. Yumi needs actually use her head. What is he on?
😂…. I hope the previews are misleading and she doesn’t say yes in the moment. I mean I feel Yumi as a character is regressing when she’s with Babi. They are dragging this on at this point
I’m always so entertained when the crown prince comes on screen. I hope we get some more depth from him but it’s unlikely seeing as how he seems to be there for comic relief
A rant, because this is now reminding me of the last couple of episodes in Because This is My First Life. I know…
This ! The dirty dishes threw me off! I mean after all this time of dating she still wants to show the best version of herself to Babi and that’s not sitting right with me. They have shown multiple times she keeps doing this and now they want to throw in marriage? I hope they wrap this up better in the next two episodes
Woong is still pretty immature, but his cells have always been the most entertaining. The way this is going the marriage thing will probably not go through and the season will most probably end with Yumi single and happy if a season 3 is not announced. I just hope the writers have not just brought Woong back and made him so desperate only to hurt him. I hope he gets his closure and can move on. I like all 3 characters and hope they get the best ending at the end of this.
I'm very surprised with how well this drama is written and executed. The 3rd episode completely knocked it out of the park for me! Fingers crossed it keeps up the quality throughout !
I enjoyed ep 5 & 6 more than the first 4. I think I got immune to all the family drama and theatrics. I think I was also able to adjust my expectations and now know what kind of tone they are aiming for. I do feel that the family drama and inner politics was better done in Minglan - at least from the 6 episodes so far. This family seems so much more comical and unruly that I can't take any of them seriously.
I...was legit thinking this would be one of my fav dramas of all time. The anticipation I had for the romance...when…
This is exactly how I feel. I almost wish they hadn't showed me the mature romance in the first half if they were going to take it away in the second half with such bad writing. Almost feel as if the first 20-25 episodes were written by a completely different person than whoever wrote the second half.
I had paused this show after ep 2 thinking I should wait for it so I could binge in the end. But seeing the comments here and spoilers online looks like this takes a turn for typical kdrama soap opera drama. Might just save my time and drop it now.
Steven Zhang is so talented

They were about to be siblings in cheese world !

ZXC always picks up interesting scripts

And here I though that this could be a 10/10
Might just save my time and drop it now.
