I'm on episode 11 and forcing myself to go through with it... it's so boring and frustrating at this point. Do writers find the viewers dumb or something?
Precisely! It's nice to see a well-put antagonist for once. Especially someone who is a bit relatable and not overly demonized. Like hey, he slaughters so he should be instantly unlikable? People like him are naturally charming and it's often overlooked in this genre.
By moralistic stands I agree, but all of the little quirks that when combined together mix into an unique blend of his character make him quite cute. Nearly as much as Park Yoo Chun...nearly ;D Of course, all of this aside from the spoilerish things we won't mention. As they say, just because someone isn't your hero doesn't mean they aren't giving 100% of their efforts in the way that they're living.
In my country, there's:
Kindergarten from ages 3-5
Primary 5/6-15,
High school 14/15-18/19,
University 18/19-21/23 for Bachelor's degree & additional two for Masters - it's 3+2 system
I do think we have it way easier than kids in Japan, but since we're an ex-socialistic republic, we still have same educational quality as before, so there's a big stress on learning and very little free time.
