The better title for this drama would be pathetic for happiness
All characters are ready to sell their soul just to be temporarily happy rather than finding inner peace

Title Dear Hyeri
The last episode has male lead and female lead have a happy ending. She seems to have learned to control him. Pain brings you happiness was emphasised rather than trying to see where the pain came from and accept it and find solutions. Pain does not always bring gain. And saying pain is like jewel is nonsense. Pain is something we should not be proud or ashamed of. But in the end the sudden happy ending is ridiculous. But they both seem to dissociate together without having split identities.

Hey, you are like Ju-Yeon at the start of the drama, when he want apocalypse. 😨
yes, he wanted it because he wanted to die but he wanted everyone else to die with him like satan tries to bring everyone with him to hell rather than going alone. It would be better for me to stop thinking about the drama than be brainwashed by the media and entertainment and be distracted.

Pay attention to the use of visual representation in this show, especially of colours. Many scenes have an intentional…
Found this on a website:

Red: is often linked to alpha programming; these are often they most easily accessed alters in a subject’s system, including lots of littles. Also, sexual programming/prostitution may be places here. Historically, the cult has linked the colour with sexual abuse and sexual ceremonies.

Yellow : often represents spirituality/positive messages. The programmers realize that too much theta/black can destroy, and in order not to lose their subject’s to suicide, will put in lifesaving or positive messages, and allow some positive spiritually.

Hyeri was dependent on Eunho and Eunho is kind of dependent on Hyunoh. Both Eunho and Hyeri do not have a father…
because Hyeri was unable to seperate from her sister, Eunho is to able to accept that Hyeri can live without her. Eunho cannot accept Hyeri's death or maybe even think that Hyeri would have left her for someone else. But she believed that Hyeri might be alive and after the missing period was over she probably thought that Hyeri was living inside her so she should let Hyeri do what she wanted to do.

Both present Eunho and past Hyeri have attachment disorder. Past Hyeri also had autism because of the rainbow.

Past Hyeri was also possessive and did not probably want her sister to show affection to anyone else. Same thing the Eunho seems to want from a boyfriend.

Can anyone guess why there is rainbow in some scenes?
I will post what gpt said:
"Rainbow dissociation" isn't a widely recognized term in psychology or other fields, but it could refer to a few different concepts depending on the context.

1. **Psychological Context**: In psychology, dissociation refers to a disconnection between thoughts, identity, consciousness, and memory. If "rainbow" is used metaphorically, it might suggest a spectrum of experiences or emotions that are dissociated from one another.

2. **Artistic or Creative Context**: In art or literature, "rainbow dissociation" could describe a fragmented or colorful representation of emotions or experiences, where different aspects of a person's psyche are expressed in a vibrant, disjointed manner.

3. **Symbolic Interpretation**: Rainbows often symbolize hope, diversity, and connection. Dissociation could imply a separation from these positive associations, perhaps indicating a struggle with integrating various aspects of one's identity or experiences.

The concepts of "rainbow" and "dissociation" can be explored in various ways, often depending on the context in which they are used. Here are a few interpretations:

1. **Symbolism**: Rainbows often symbolize hope, diversity, and unity, while dissociation refers to a psychological state where a person feels disconnected from their thoughts, feelings, or sense of self. The juxtaposition of these two concepts could represent the struggle between seeking connection and experiencing disconnection.

2. **Mental Health**: In discussions about mental health, a "rainbow" might represent the spectrum of emotions and experiences that individuals go through, while dissociation could indicate a coping mechanism for dealing with overwhelming feelings. This could highlight the complexity of emotional experiences, where one might feel a range of emotions but also experience moments of detachment.

3. **Art and Expression**: In artistic contexts, a rainbow could be used to depict a range of emotions or experiences, while dissociation might be represented through fragmented or abstract forms. This could create a visual narrative that explores the interplay between vibrant experiences and feelings of disconnection.

4. **Cultural Context**: In some cultures, rainbows are seen as bridges or connections between different realms (e.g., earth and sky). Dissociation, in this sense, could be viewed as a barrier to experiencing those connections fully, emphasizing the importance of integration and wholeness.

Title Dear Hyeri Spoiler
Hyeri was dependent on Eunho and Eunho is kind of dependent on Hyunoh. Both Eunho and Hyeri do not have a father figure and Hyeri only needs her sister but Eunho wants a father figure and wants to be dependent expects it from her boyfriend even if she does not express it. So she wants Hyeri to have a boyfriend and be happy in the same way she was happy with her boyfriend.

Eunho's Hyeri is different from the Hyeri who died. Eunho's Hyeri is somewhere between Eunho and Hyeri. Eunho seems to be fulfilling Hyeri's wishes because her wishes were not fulfilled. Eunho's Hyeri is her self preservation which was suppressed.

And sexual harassment being mentioned in ep 4 and how Eunho's Hyeri knows about it but the real Hyeri would have not reacted in the same way. Real Hyeri was probably raped and killed or Eunho assumes that's what happened which is why she sees the wounds or may be Hyeri was bullied by others.

Almost like Eunho and Juyeon are going through the same pain loss of a sibling. Instead of Real Hyeri depending on Eunho, Eunho's Hyeri is depending on Juyeon. Eunho is depending on Hyunoh and Hyunoh likes Eunho who is dependent on him. She tries to be independent but still part of her wants a father figure who can protect herself and her sister.

Eunho cannot be normal in a relationship because she being with her boyfriend in her past made her feel she abandoned her sister. Now that Hyeri is no more she still feels guilty in a relationship. So she tries to be in a relationship as Hyeri without any guilt and trauma.

Real Hyeri cannot live without Eunho so Eunho believes that Hyeri is living inside her body and she tries to reduce her guilt by giving Hyeri a happy life. But she also wants herself to be happy but it is not possible until Hyeri is happy so she creates Hyeri so that both of them can be happy.

And why did Eunho break the mirror because she realised what she was doing and was angry that she was still alive and cannot protect her sister. Real Eunho wants to kill both these identities Eunho and Real Hyeri.

Eunho hates herself so much that she wants love from Hyunoh to keep on being alive. Eunho also thinks she does not deserve being happy and Hyeri does. Hyeri probably loved herself and but loves her sister more than herself. She cannot separate herself from her sister and has boundary issues.

Eunho's Hyeri thinks that she deserves all the happiness even Eunho's. Eunho's Hyeri is selfish and puts herself before Eunho which is opposite of Hyeri but similar to Eunho. But still they both Eunho and Eunho's Hyeri are looking for the same type of love interest one who is solely focused on them and not others.

Eunho's Hyeri acts both like Eunho and Hyeri and does what Eunho wants Hyeri to do and what she herself would do if she were Hyeri rather that what Real Hyeri would do. Eunho wants to change the past but she can't so she tries to alter the present which she does not want to accept by creating the alternate reality of some sorts which is her coping mechanism.

Eunho lived as Hyeri's sister and Hyeri lived as Eunho's sister and Eunho's Hyeri is one who is not dependent on her sister and she does not know about having a sister. Eunho wanted her sister to live without depending on her she does not want her imaginary Hyeri to know of her existence because it would cause problems. So she sends her Hyeri to therapy in order to kill Eunho and continue living as Hyeri or anyone else free from all the trauma. She is in fact suicidal and believes that love can cure and love will be her reason to live. Her not being able to accept reality has created this and she has to face what happened in the past. She has to stop worrying about her sister and be happy that she is alive like what Eunho's Hyeri said.

Eunho's Hyeri gives advice to Juyeon but they are rather she is trying to console herself by consoling him. She says what she wants to hear from others. She has no one to say those words to her and understands that a boyfriend cannot help her change or forget her past. So she brings back Hyeri.
