This might be an unpopular opinion but the male lead seeks to like an background character just filling out the show. All the character seem to be doing so much more than him. The villain seems be the center character. Its like they have just put the main male lead as a filler for the story " FL wants someone to protect". Both the father and the main lead need to be taken care of. Either ways progressing into the story it becomes more boring to see the main lead.
It would have been so fun watching the Mother and the Villain become new money family.
