With all the comments I thought I'd dread the last arc but I actually flew through it. This whole drama was 9/10 for me. It was nice to see LJL's backstory in the last arc, and ultimately it showed their relationship in the larger context outside of Linji. There was never going to be a perfect ending where they both got everything they wanted. RSB knew that, LJL thought he knew that but wavered when he was put to the test. In the end though I think they really showcased that love is an ongoing action and it means choosing each other over and over again. And that you don't need to be all powerful to do good right where you are.
I do think it's funny how soooo many people are mad about him giving up power for her. I wonder why we don't see that kind of comments in every other drama where the FL marries into the ML's family and gives up her independence... hmmmmmm.
Also I'm giddy for all the HMH screen time recently... that is one beautiful man. Just wish he had his hair down more often in this drama 🤣
Time Raiders covers books 1 and Xisha underwater tomb presumably (only 18 episodes), but TLT2 also covers Bronze Tree and part of Heavenly Palace so that might still belong up there on #2. Hoping the new cast can remake everything to connect up to and then past UN though haha

Ultimate Note ends one volume away from the end of the main book arc. The last volume unfortunately has not been adapted so if you want to know what happens, you’ll have to read the book :(
