Sadly all the Fox Spirit Matchmaker (including Cheng Yi's) will have sad endings.. Idk why it's like this

The ending is sad, Huaizu will die

All of the Fox Spirit Matchmaker will have a sad ending. This will sadly not be a good series for those who prefer happy endings. LIP and S&B :(

Sad ending

The plot is the main issue and it sucks

YOU ARE KIDDING ME, I thought this was a happy ending because clearly Cheng Yi's character is the son of Hongye and Haizhu

So there's no happy endings in the entire Fox Spirit Matchmaker series pretty much then, that really sucks.

I think the romance started off weird. It was fall in love at first sight but Hongye's mask kinda ruined that moment then Hongye's friends trying to set up him with Haizhu when Haizhu clearly likes the mask guy

I kinda do think the actress/actors are carrying this. One part of it dragged a bit but it finally ended so we're moving on. I think it's worth checking out! Spoiler ending below tho:

Thank you! For some reason at the start of the drama airing, I saw a comment that said they didn't end up together so I was hesitant to watch it
