Karma is a B.
After careful consideration, I decided to experience the Japanese version. My decision was also influenced by Takeru Satoh, whose work I have admired since his drama 'An Incurable Case of Love'. I found this version to be a worthwhile viewing experience. While the Korean version remains unparalleled in its depth and detail, both adaptations effectively convey the core narrative despite their differences.
Currently, I am seeking recommendations for dramas within the revenge genre, as "DEAR X" is not yet complete. This particular drama was highly enjoyable, especially witnessing the protagonist's transformation through self-love. Sei Shiraishi's portrayal of the antagonist was exceptionally compelling, and the numerous scenes that evoked strong emotions kept me engaged and motivated to complete the series. The entire cast delivered outstanding performances. This marks my first experience watching two different versions of the same drama.
I would greatly appreciate any recommendations for other compelling villain and revenge-themed dramas. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
