The FL Can Do Everything Except Fall in Love

Just one thing for the production team:

When you cast Tan Song Yun as the FL, pleaseeeee DO NOT call it a romance! 😂

Let her solve problems, outsmart everyone, and deliver flawless speeches. She can do all that just fine. But please don't expect her to set the screen on fire romantically.

In my opinion, romantic chemistry is simply not her strong suit. She can play an intelligent, resourceful, and principled character, but when it comes to romance, her perpetually cold expression and emotionless eyes drain the life out of intimate scenes. The script can give us all the longing, tension, and passionate dialogue in the world, but if the actress doesn't convey those emotions, the romance falls flat. It feels like something happening around her rather than something happening between the two characters.

And this isn't just about one particular male lead. I've watched her in several dramas, and I keep noticing the same problem: different ML, same cold stare, same lack of chemistry. The romance is supposed to be there, but I'm just not feeling it. 🙄

And one more thing: there is no such thing as a perfect person! The writers made her so flawless that it became ridiculous. She's always right, always knows what to do, and always finds the perfect solution. Seriously? Even superheroes have flaws! 😂

Next time you create a character, please make her believable. Give her weaknesses, let her make mistakes, and allow the other characters to shine, too. A capable female lead doesn't have to be an infallible one-woman show.

The drama had potential, but a more realistic heroine and a female lead who could actually deliver romantic chemistry would have made it SO much better.
