If it follows the novel she becomes his concubine and has his child.
Ohhh that's what happen in the novel! This sound like "promise of Changan" but I hope the drama will be diff even so she didn't end up with the Master I rather she be on her own or both leads die just like in "one and only" just my preference.
I guess bc Haishi isn't a "boooring" person😅. She talks back most of the time. It seems Haishi never got married…
if she's one of the emperor's woman this means she can't be with the Master than and it seems the master is so loyal to the emperor he won't even bat an eyelid when he makes a decision. This is gonna be so sad and roller coaster of emotion as much as Idw this to happen but use to Cdrama kinda of sad plot. But thank you!
Does anyone know why the emperor took interest in haishi when I thought he was loyal to one (Zizan). I'm really curious did haishi really got married to the emperor?
Surprisingly I'm really enjoying this and do anticipate for the next episode. I think mainly i like the fact that female lead is strong and not annoying or suddenly halfway thru become so dump that need to be protected by the male lead. Like how other Cdrama I've watch mainly in beginning female lead start off strong but halfway thru the story they become so weak and vulnerable that always need to be saved. So far so good for me.
Their love story reminds me of kdrama "Mr Sunshine" kiss scene is not needed but just with their gaze and longing and their warm embrace was all that's needed. Really love this kind of tragic love story so genuine yet beautiful.
Honestly, not over this series and one&only cause the chemistry of bailu and renjialun is overpowering. Not just that but also the perfect storyline that goes smoothly and the emotion ride everything is so nicely put. How do i move on when i have a list of chinese drama on waitlist and planning to watch "song of youth" but im scared that since im still lingering on this series and will cloud my judgement on "song of youth". But have been putting this on hold for long. Chinese drama is spoiling us with so many choices but at the same time leaving us with so much emotion.
Hi can anyone explain to me about ep 24. It seems that what happened in brehmen, when Shi yi fell into the water was all planned by Wenxing? And not Wenchuan? Am I right to say that Zhousheng Chen and Mei xing is not aware its Wenxing who plans all this?
During the part where Shiyi was listening to the recording she mention a "secret" anyone knows what she's referring to?
This is truly a masterpiece from Ep 1 to last episode there wasn't any flaws. The show flows perfectly. Though it was heart wrenching but every decision and everything that happens makes sense. I started crying from Ep 16 onwards but it was worth watching. I thought I couldn't find anything as good as "The long ballad" of course this story brings out different essence! Kudos to the team and actors/actress for the excellent performance.
Shout out to Allen and Bailu for bringing out the character alive. But I have to say MVP goes out to the monk for being a perfect wingman. All the generals were perfect too their little stories was heart wrenching as well. For those of you who is still hesitating just go and watch now it's worth the 24 episodes no loose ends at least for me. So 10/10

If someone could shade some light would be great!
