@Jamesdaggett If you don't like it already, don't watch the series, I don't see the problem. But in many of the XianXia there are love triangles that don't lead to anything beyond the evolution of those involved. MM the SML also likes the FL and that until he likes the SFL is already a one-sided love triangle
