I'm somewhat of a cinefile, but don't get me wrong- I love to read too. The amount of physical and digital books I own is outrageous. 

Back in the days of video rental stores, I rented the Asian films because I had either already seen all the American ones or the Asian storylines were just more interesting (usually the later).  When the video stores went away, and I no longer had that access, I fell out of the habit of watching Asian cinema. Now I have Internet in my home for the first time. I simply don't have enough hours in my life for all that I want to watch! MDL is perfect for keeping track of it though. ^-^
