When Love Becomes Comfort
Two honest, pure people falling in love is always soothing to watch. Nothing loud, nothing rushed—the classic story done right, this journey of them finding inner peace in each other is simply endearing.STORY:
The ML, Lin Yu Sen, is a young, renowned former neurosurgeon who later works at his family's solar industry business due to a car accident affecting his arm. The FL, Nie Xi Guang, has just graduated from college and starts working as a regular office employee in the same company as ML. Although both the leads are from rich families, they are both humble, diligent and very smart. FL ends up having a crush on one of her classmates. Although that guy initially doesn't reciprocate her feelings, she eventually ends up being heartbroken. Since the beginning, ML is drawn to FL's energy, attitude and positivity. The rest of the story narrates the truth behind ML's accident and how both the leads slowly fall in love, heal one another and become each other’s greatest comfort.
MY FAV PART:
Yearning is always the endgame for me. The way ML loves her, and how she later loves him back, gosh, that was gorgeously pure. I love how ML always waited and never urged the FL to reciprocate his feelings. He gave her all the time she needed and never stopped loving her. The FL—what a baddie, I admired how confidently she always stood up for her boyfriend, being vocal about how she would always end up with him no matter what, with a guy who loves her unconditionally and is not shy about his feelings, slay queen! And the whole family and the employees were all super nice, not an ounce of jealousy just pure happiness for the leads.
The couple genuinely loved every bit of each other and ML is a solid green forest. He's way too nice, emotionally mature and understanding to feel real, and honestly so is the FL. She's super considerate, empathetic, cheerful, and stunningly smart. They looked amazing together and the chemistry was insane. The way he flirts with her is damn smooth and not awkward at all. No unnecessary cliches, pure warmth and respect towards one another.
One of my favourite moments was in the last few episodes, when the ML walks towards FL as she's on call with her cousin talking about how she found her "sun"—giving her warmth in the darkest moments, the dialogues with the BGM were done beautifully, the cinematography was solid. I absolutely love the opening OST. The dialogues are thoughtful and exquisitely crafted. All the actors were phenomenal, nothing felt overdone and the writing deserves praise.
Glad there are no unnecessary break up scenes or arguments. I like how they showed the future too, a little baby daughter and their love, even after so many years, they cherish each other like there is no tomorrow, gosh that's rare in the world we live in. I wish they added a few more scenes of their families, I would've loved to see the family interacting with their daughter and also if there were any potential second couple <3
It's the fact that everything felt so natural and heartwarming, it didn't feel boring or disappointing, I'm sure they will keep cherishing each other's presence in their lives for many more years yet to come. And I'll remember this one for a long time, thanks to the cast and crew for creating this art:)

Exquisite masterpiece after a long time:)
This is my first review and here it goes!❄️🍃The First Frost has a special place in my heart! That happy feeling that you've just finished one of the best shows you've ever watched and also that empty feeling that you've just finished one of the best shows you've ever watched. That's what it feels like when you complete this drama. This is a story of a girl who carries lots of trauma and emotional distress with all her relationships, wants to take a chance and find her happiness, starts with Sang Yan.
I actually haven't watched a cdrama for quite a long time, so when TFF started airing, I learned that it was Sang Yan's story. I remember that after HL ended, the announcement for TFF was confirmed later. So, I knew it was supposed to air, but didn't follow much. One day, when I discovered that TFF started airing, I didn't expect much and started watching it late, believe me, I couldn't stop watching. The story felt so real because it wasn't what I expected, and I was hooked. And it wasn't too much fluff. It is just perfect. The perfect story with the perfect romance. I've never really felt the way I feel now about a drama. I did enjoy WIFTY and HL but this one just hits different. I didn't expect the characters to be this real, the experiences they went through, the way they love each other, everything felt so real. The ML and FL complement each other really well. The only drawback was that the SML story with grandparents felt a bit lengthy, and could've been shorter. But I was blinded by ML and FL, so I just didn't mind it. Later, I realised that the grandfather was kinda similar to WYF on how they reciprocated their feelings.
If you're someone who wants to watch slow burn with tender and soft romance, you should definitely start this! It has some intense emotions too, it was rollercoaster. I'm all here for the second chance, the first love, and these two huge green flags. And their chemistry was top notch. Every single detail, be it fluff, trauma, emotion, heartwarming moments, romantic ones, they nailed it! Their acting was great and so were the dialogues and the OSTs were chef's kiss. The way they look at each other, their chemistry, even the dialogues, everything is so heartwarming and thoughtful! Never did it feel cringey for a second. I also loved how the opening OST was SY's POV and the ending OST was WYF's OST. I feel the HK arc was necessary to add to the emotional depth of the leads and how much trauma affects an individual, and to show that trauma doesn't disappear overnight like magic. WYF is the strongest FL I ever witnessed in a drama, and SY is the biggest green flag I ever saw. And the emotional depth depicted in the drama and it's importance was insane. This was probably the drama with the most satisfactory ending. This drama brought me back to cdrama again. This is the best drama of 2025. And probably the best of all time to me. The First Frost will always be special to me. Thank you Bai Jing Ting, Zhang Ruo Nan for the perfect portrayal of Sang Yan and Yifan. Thank you to the cast and crew for making this unforgettable masterpiece. I enjoyed every second of this drama, and it was worth the wait;)
I can't believe it's done, I already miss them! It's hard to let go and say goodbye - and I'm sure I'll re-watch the drama again and again. Let me conclude by saying: EVERYONE NEEDS A SANG YAN IN THEIR LIFE!
P.S: I rewatched twice already, and their dating era once, and still rewatch many episodes and can't watch any new drama. I listen to the OSTs everyday, such an unforgettable drama. SY raised the bar so high and their love feels eternal. They deserve each other and love each other unconditionally. TFF will always be my comfort and healing drama. The direction, production and cinematography was top-notch. Once again, thank you to the cast and crew for creating this masterpiece.

Unforgettable and exceptional
To be honest, I can't even summarise right now since it's been like 10 mins since I completed this drama, so lemme just write what I want to say right now...I binge-watched S1 for 6 hours straight, and cried buckets watching last 2 eps, I'm honestly speechless, one of the best k-drama I've ever watched. Maybe it's because I related to leads a lot, I kept weeping and weeping at the end, I just feel overwhelmed right now. Si-Eun and Se-Ho, the writing and acting was phenomenal! Wish I had watched it early, I regret it now, but glad I choose to watch this today.
To those who watched S1 and waited 3 years for S2, you have my respect...even though it's late to say know, thanks to the cast & crew for creating this masterpiece, and thanks to actors for doing an amazing job! It's for sure a 10/10 for me!

Mobius — A Drama That Keeps You Guessing
I just finished watching it, and here I am writing another review of a drama starring BJT. Mobius follows the story of a policeman named Ding Qi, played by Bai Jing Ting, who occasionally ends up stuck in a time loop. On random days, he relives the same 24 hours over and over. As the loops continue, strange events and hidden connections start to unfold around him, revealing unexpected twists.I watched The First Frost starring BJT and ZRN, and I was captivated by BJT's acting and then I watched Reset too. Honestly, it made me realise I didn’t know such a versatile Chinese actor existed—he’s good-looking, sings, plays piano and is funny as well! Since the day I saw Mobius page on MDL, I was looking forward to watching it, since sci-fi and thrillers are my jam. Now that I completed Mobius too, here's what I think:
The series starts off really strong—the way they introduce the characters and the time loop concept is intriguing. By episode 10, I was still a bit confused about who the main antagonist was and who was who, which made me eager to keep watching. The story is pretty good overall. At times, it felt a bit dragged out, but in hindsight, those parts felt essential.
The cinematography is solid, BJT was very charismatic as Ding Qi and Janice Man as An Lan played her role well, although didn't have much time to shine, acting wise, everyone did a great job. I love the whole CSI officers, they were so cool to watch and their teamwork shines! Although the romance is subtle, I could feel the chemistry between the leads, though it might not work for everyone. The opening OST, it really sets the mood. Overall, Mobius reached my expectations, BJT never disappoints. Although the ending might feel a bit messy and illogical at some parts, it's still worth a watch, especially if you like thrillers and time loops!!
