I agree 100% with your review. The chemistry between the three main leads was well developed and felt authentic. I too found Ji-ah and Lee Yeon's relationship lacked sparks/passion/excitement. Every time someone would reference a fox mates for life I would shout "break that tradition!"

The chemistry between Moon Dong Eun and Ha Do Young was wild! Watching two people play a board game and thinking they need to get together because woooooooo!
Loved this series and so happy the Hong sisters gave us closure and a happy ending. My wish to see Naksu fighting alongside Uk with her sword and formidable powers did not come true, and I felt too much time was given to the amnesia/damsel in distress story line in Season 2.
Loved the character progression of the crown prince, and the comedic chemistry between him and Uk was priceless. The crown prince's revenge for his turtle was great.
Maidservant Kim and Park Jin were two of my favorites - I almost lost it when I thought they died. Such great casting, and overall a fascinating story. Kudos the the prop and wardrobe and makeup people--great job!
I think Season 1 will always hold a special place in my heart, because the chemistry and bickering and falling in love between Mu Deok and Uk was excellent.
