The female lead, Wan Peng introduced me to C dramas. I’ve watched a bunch of her dramas, but this is one that I’m finding hard to complete after 5 episodes . Not because it isn’t good, but because I can’t take the heartbreaking ending after seeing how beautiful their friendship and lovely their friend group was in edits. I don’t wanna cry. Perhaps, I’ll watch it all if there ever comes a season 2. They could genuinely make one where they all meet up unexpectedly during their college or work life since the actors are older now.

I think you should’ve searched it up tho. The major parts and most of the story revolve around the previous generation. The aunt is surely gonna be the center point because she’s the moonlight of the martial arts world in the drama. The previous gen is the pillar of the current gen. Honestly, I don’t think that part is a big deal. And, I’m guessing the drama failed to depict the connection well. It’s not that everyone likes her or is in love with her or something. It’s more like, she’s admired by everyone throughout her generation and beyond.

Y’all I just need Aunt Cai Pingshu and the uncle Mu Zhengyang’s story of the previous generation. It seems even more intense,hopefully they make a full drama outta their story too

She had strongest sect of all time coming up too, and other projects. She’s worked hard this year, and I believe that it’ll pay off. And remember, Sometimes too much fame can cost a person. You would’ve hated the book, lmao. It’s based on the book and the ml did way worse and there were worse misunderstandings. The drama is actually so much better. Can’t blame it when it’s a book adapted . It rather did justice to sons parts of the book which were too complicated
