If you're considering watching it because of the Japanese version, let me tell you it's entirely different. Here, the female lead doesn't actually forget about her friends every Monday; she lies about it for a reason related to her past. In this version, the male lead is the one who has amnesia.
I'm on a Yamaken movie spree right now! Kento Yamazaki has worked on a lot of live-action adaptations. Almost half of his works are live-action, which is why he's called the "king of live-action anime adaptations." Before starting a drama or watching a movie, whenever I check reviews on kisskh or in the comment sections of trailers, I always see comments saying, "I prefer the anime. The manga was so much better. I expected more."
I've noticed the Japanese have a tendency to make live-action movies of popular anime. It's not just anime, though; other industries do it too.
If someone has already watched and loved an anime, they'll probably dislike the live-action version if it doesn't meet the anime's level. Maybe that's why there are so many negative comments saying the script wasn't good enough, the actors didn't act well, it was horrible, and so on. If I'd seen the anime, maybe I'd feel the same way. But I'm glad I didn't watch them first! I've been able to watch them with full satisfaction. Also, don't read the negative reviews and comments before starting. Just give it a try, and believe me, if it's Kento Yamazaki, you won't regret it. I haven't yet! I'm definitely enjoying my Yamaken movie spree.
ryusei should've been main lead imo he suits the character more
Can you tell me where can I watch it with eng sub? I've been looking this for a while but can't find it. It's not available anywhere. I've found one on dramafull but it's not playing. Even yamasaki-kento fansub didn’t sub it. plz!! suggest me how to watch!!
Just finished it.

Just finished this drama. If I hadn’t made any mistake while counting, Otaro and Saiko kissed each other 22 times in total 😅
