if anyone have any recommendation of drama just like this one, kdrama, cdrama, japanese drama anything please feel…
I looked through my own highest rated historical dramas and would recommend The Red Sleeve, Under the Queen's Umbrella, Moon Lovers, Mr. Queen, Love like the Galaxy, A Dream of Splendor. Most of them are rather bittersweet and achingly beautiful. Some have funny elements as well.
so far a good start but I have a feeling this is one of those dramas that’s gonna have a good start but as we…
To be fair, a lot of shows seem to have about 2-4 filler episodes and lack of plot lines to further develop the story and characters, so a running time of 12-14 solid, concise episodes might sometimes be better than 16 episodes, just because the TV channel said so.
I enjoyed the first two episodes. The cases covered in the lying business were fun to watch. I like the main female lead so far and hope for a good relationship development between the leads. Looking forward to the SML and the police investigation, despite there being an awful lot of murder mysteries added to shows lately.
I loved the first two episodes - very funny and promising beginning with a fairly unconventional and thus refreshing mother-daughter relationship for Korean dramas. Slightly uncouth, adult Gilmore Girls with a police setting.
I must say that as someone who has watched a lot of similar political shows from different countries that this show brings nothing new to the table for me. All plot lines were fairly predictable and there were barely any plot twists I haven't anticipated. Also many villain characters are very cliché, whereas I enjoy a bit morally grey people in this genre and not plain evil. So I think that people who are regular watchers of political shows will probably not really enjoy this one as it's mediocre plotwise, the acting however was pretty decent.

I agree. It was not fair that all these people got struck by the meteor in the first place and now their afterlife is not very fair as well. You either receive a second chance at life after completing the final game or you eventually get to die in the boarderland sooner or later. No peace there.
someone pls explain HOW the games happened! i realise that they all were severely hurt from the meteorite, and…
I think the boardlerland was a limbo between life and death or the purgatory in which the charactors had to prove their willingness to live by surviving in the games. Those who wanted to live got resuscitated and received a second chance at life, while others who wanted to remain in the boarderland continued their stay as citizens and new game creators and thus basically died. And all the main charactes were actually present during the meteor explosion and that's why they all end up in the same cards game. And others like the rock star band were probably killed another way in the real world, ended up as citizens after their games, and finally got to die after their loss against Arisu.
A drama that frustrates me like vincenzo. LOL (just skip comedy scene)For the villian:- if someone blocking your…
Yeah, the plot armour is very thick in here. By now the main villain could have eliminated the sisters, especially the youngest, since she was at their home to get revenge on the older sisters.
Seems to be like these procedural shows ala Chicago Fire and PD/ Grey's Anatomy and Station 19.. these mixed universes type of show are unfortunately not my cup of tea.
this show is draggy, so I'm really contemplating to drop it after 8 eps. the pathos in the court scenes is too much, very overdramatic crying scenes. after a while the continous, exaggerated court scenes just make you numb to it all.
i came in expecting no romance but the way choi do il looks at injoo every on-screen moment gives me so much mixed…
Yes, I'm looking for any hints that Choi Do Il's feelings might be real and these two soon-to-be wealthy lovebirds will ride into the sunset together. But would also not put it past him that he's just a manipulative bastard.
It's such a pity that the charismatic Yuan Shen was so underutilised, especailly in the 2nd part. I wanted to actually see how his character supported the FL during the hard times of the ML's absence. I think the FL could also naturally have developed some sort of feelings towards Yuan Shen since she spent a lot of time with him. Maybe a bittersweet love triangle and heart ache would have improved the plot of part 2. I mean the FL and ML were obviously soulmates who always find their way back to each other but a bit of more struggle along the way in terms of whether they truly loved each other and focus on their relationship would have been better for the bigger picture, instead of some scheming revenge plotlines.
It's such a pity that this charismatic actor was so underutilised in Love Like the Galaxy, especailly in the 2nd part. I hope he will be cast as a main lead in future projects!
