This is crazy....also this is what pisses me off about some of these platforms; sometimes they allocate all their resources to promote x or y drama even though the results arent even there and dont push the dramas that are doing very well. I read that , that other drama even had at least 2 or 3 different CP photoshoots too. Thankfully this drama performed really well despite all the lack of that promo. Also before anyone tries to come at me, I am not speaking ill of that drama, I am just baffled at the lack of the promo for one despite it doing very well.

yet I see clips here and there about the leads on X lol; funny how that works. Sometimes if you dont even pay attention to stuff like this you will be skewed by the performance of X or Y drama....thinking that this one may not be doing that well because it is not being pushed much or talked about much on social media..... , while the other is presumably doing " very well " because you see clips of it on social media....but thankfully some C drama watchers know better.

I follow 1 of his fanpage on X that post stats of this drama and it is insane how extremely well it has been doing on CCTV....it is literally n1 with a big market share in other metrics too .....so to not see it being talked about it much there or even on IG compared to that other drama that I keep seeing clips of (no offense) has been interesting to see to say the least. I wonder if it is because it is not a idol drama or costume drama too. This is a period drama and they tend to be niche somewhat too.

I wonder why this drama is really not talked about much on social media when it has been doing extremely well on CCTV and Tencent? When you look at the stats it actually performed extremely well compared to some of the C dramas I see talked about on X for example. Is it because the FL isn't really a traffic actress yet? I am watching her in Legend of the magnate and she's great there.... even though her scenes overall weren't a lot.... it's a male centric drama.
Did they manage to reach 30000 heat index? Last I saw it was 27000 or 28000 .
I am finally going to binge watch it since it finished airing ππ. I had it on my to watch list for a while. I like Arthur's acting.

This production team is terrible lol; well at least to him. I will be glad when the filming of this drama ends and he can move on to another production. Even SAL production team that was messy wasnt like this.

I know right? Them and IQYI are the worst when it comes to promoting dramas (they just pick and choose a few ones to promote well) and she hasnt had any luck with them promoting her dramas decently so far. Her last business drama with them didnt have any promo at all but by some miracle it still did well.
To my surprise, Youku is actually posting about it and promoting it somewhat...so let's see.
I am just glad that she got the Primetime TV Slot at CCTV8 that's the most important; plus we are going to have a few offline events. That's far more that her last drama ever did.

This has been such a smooth filming process.
Her next drama is rumoured to start filming in August.....
She will have a couple of free months in the meantime.
