Lord let's not bring up this billing mess. It was some of her overzealous fan on Weibo 🙄🙄🙄. What annoyed me so much about that drama early on is that Seven is an actress who doesn't even care about stuff like this. She mostly care about the story, script...not that billing nonsense so for 1 of her " fans" to make drama about this early on was embarrassing, annoying and just out of touch imo. Like do you even know your fave? Why do you take it upon yourself to make unnecessary drama for her? Thank goodness, everyone moved on. I am pretty sure that XK was always the ML chosen for this drama. I haven't heard of anyone else .

Oh this was such a a great take on this show 👏👏👏. For the nth time, I feel like I'm talking to air here 😅😅🙃🤣🤣. I really do not understand why people " dislike or hate" Jixing for the breakup; why they think that she's solely at fault. Like you explained so well, WE the audience know how much he loves her and has for a Long time but when they initially started their relationship, she didn't know that. And to make matters worse, she had to hear about the Hanhai situation from Zeng di of all people 😅😅. Why can't some people really understand why she felt even more betrayed ? Like I said, it seems like some people don't want to put themselves into her shoes to see where she was coming from. This is 1 of the rare times where a break up was actually necessary in a drama imo. For the growth of the characters and for strengthening their relationship.

Just my opinion. I may be biased but imo she was perfect for Ji xing just like Han Ting was perfect for Han Ting.

This is news to me 🤔🤔. I thought that XK was always supposed to be the male lead. Also no offense but he was the perfect ML for this drama imo. He outdid himself in it. He lived and breathed his character Han Ting and brought him to life 👏. Someone mentioned Wallace chung 😅. I loved his chemistry with Seven in the sword and the brocade ( 1 of my fave dramas from her) but I cannot see him in the role of Han Ting 😅😅.
All the Youku dramas that will air at the end of this year; looks like 11 of them. It will be very interesting to see what type of promo this drama will get in comparisons to the other 10 😃😃😃.

I tolerated her character at first in the beginning but as the episodes went by her character irritated me😅😅.. What I'm so glad that this drama did is that they made sure that the ML drew the line with her early on. We always knew where he was standing with her on their relationship. So many of these dramas will have characters like Zheng Di and the ML never draw the line and low-key encourage her antics and to act later like they really didn't know better 😅.

Im actually a bit pleasantly surprised on how ABAY performed better than that drama in a lot of aspects... especially given the fact that most of the main leads casts of that drama are traffic stars. They were ahead of us in popularity ranking (for characters) once it aired but duh that's kind of to be expected with their massive fans bases and having the tools to keep them there. Is it safe to say that season 2 didn't live up to the expectations of season 1? ( idk I didn't watch). Fans of that show, don't come for me 😅, I'm just curious. I also just checked their page here on MDL and why is it at less than 6000 watchers? Even princess Royal is way above it.

WOW. Thank you for the thorough explanation 👏👏👏. It's always blows my mind the crazy things that goes on BTS with some of these awards shows, endorsements, or even roles in the C industry. It's kind of dark sided😅😅. This is why sometimes I wished seven would do all the things that these traffic actresses do bc she definitely can if she wants to bc it would protect her somehow. It seems like when you don't have that "title", your path is even harder bc you have to compete with these huge fan bases and what not.
