I read that many supporting characters will finish filming today; and the shooting will most likely end at the end of March or early April. I mean for it to be only 24 episodes, it makes sense. They also kept filming non stop since it started. I am glad that it is almost done.

the show was really so good and I was so interested in the cases then they had to introduce her character whose sole purpose is her romantic fixation on the ML. ....maybe it is the way that actress is interpreting the role because she just come off as extremely annoying and a waste of screentime.
I dont usually mind love plots in these type of dramas but in this case it just seems annoying and unnecessary.
I think that I will keep watching it and skip her parts at the beginning. I see her in the cast for the other seasons, is her role minimal? I hope so.

For anyone interested; this is the drama they (Esther and Heyu)are rumoured to do for their 2nd collaboration.

Oh wow I see. I am guessing his role in this one based on what you said happens in the book would be like Ryan in Fight to love with Victoria Song; very minimal, only there as a plot device to the FL..... almost like a special appearance. It is ok.It seems like he may have a slightly bigger role in blossom of power.
It makes sense when he only has been filming for 18 days and the FL for over 50 days (if Im not mistaken)...also in these 18 days he shot so far, half of them were like for a few minutes or hours.He just started filming for a full day like 2 or 3 days ago.

Anyways, on the bright side, I am liking the costumes so far :).

I think that the fact it is a IQYI original make it difficult to be so; literally 2 competing platforms. I do hope that one day , it will air there. It deserves to be known even way more globally.
They literally did not anticipate this level of success imo.......or else I feel like even as crappy as IQYI is promotion wise, they would have done the bare minimum to promote it instead of air dropping and calling it a day smh. Imagine if Esther didnt take it on her hands to take as many pics as she could during filming, videos, and the few lives they did....we wouldnt even get anything.

One of the main reasons that I hope that the rumours of Esther/Heyu 2nd collaboration will be true. We definitely deserve better promotions that we didnt get during SAL.
