This is so weird. As long as I have followed Seven, I have watched almost all her projects. I dont think she has ever had a low rate here for a drama like this on this site out of the gate. Is this the doing of some of Xu kai previous female leads fans or what? Or some of his detractors? Even when it started airing 2 days ago, people had it as a 6 rating.......
Anyways, thank goodness it is doing well so far (satellite Tv ratings/Tencent.....and other type of rankings they do...).

Me either. It is ridiculous and I have been a fan of hers for years and watched almost all her projects. Never have I seen one of her dramas attacked like this out of the gate. Even Road Home that people dragged at the time and called "slow" propagandish...didnt go through something like this. Xu Kai is 1 of my fave actors but I feel like maybe it is some competitors or detractors he has. This tends to happen with him and some of his dramas (from what Ive noticed over the years; I am a fan of him as well) This doesnt make sense .Seven has NEVER had such a low rating for a drama that just aired 2 days ago. Anyways, let's keep enjoying the drama. Nothing is going to steal my enjoyment of this drama for me.
I am rooting for Han Ting but man I felt so bad for her current boyfriend when she rejected his proposal....omg his poor puppy face .....awww man....lol. But I see where she is coming from.
She looked great today at the ABAY beijing offline event. The emotional moments and lighthearted moments are so great. I love her acting and her chemistry with Xukai in the drama.

They have very good content with their dramas and I don't negate that but where their dramas falters is the promotion aspect and wide accessibility to the world. Even Death's game that kind of went viral with the great cast and storyline kind of went nowhere really afterwards. Or King of pigs. Not sure if Pyramid Game that did well got many nominations afterwards. I hope it will air on TVN for cable and then TVING for OTT; At least TVN knows how to promote.

He is so lovely; truly. One of my fave Chinese actors: love his personality and who he is as an actor. So him and my fave girl finally collaborating on a drama was a dream true lol. Even better that they got along very well while filming it.
Just finished episode 5. I wished all the episodes were out so that I could binge watch. Xu kai is killing it in this Ceo role; Plus I love his voice; thank goodness he dubbed his own voice. Also Seven as always deliver; her emotional scenes particularly are everything.. They simply sizzle onscreen. I cannot wait for their dating era.......... I know that some people will say that he was harsh towards her at the end of the episode but realistically speaking he is right. Maybe the delivery needs to be kinder lol but he is right. I wonder if she is going to take him up on his offer. I feel like she has too much pride for that. Arghhhhhh I cannot wait for the next episode.

that's crazy smh. for a drama that just aired??? I am not even being biased but this is already so much better than the plethora of modern dramas out there. I also love how the business side of things has to do with medical technology; it is much more interesting. Both leads are doing such a good job; Im loving their chemistry (they sizzle on screen) and so far the side characters dont have too much screentime....may it continue
It was 6.2 at one point:(( but it when up to 7 the latest. I am enjoying it. I guess people who read the novel…
this is 1 of the reasons why I did not read the novel despite spoilers being everywhere since last year. I know how cdrama writers or kdrama writers for that matter make adaptations lol. Maybe it is 1 of the reasons why I am enjoying the drama so much. I went in without knowing any little details in the book.
The drama is doing very well so far. Excited for the offline events with our leads tomorrow.
Oh and slightly off topic.....why are people already rating it at an overall rating of 7.00 when it's only less than 5 episodes out. WTH??? It is almost as some people are eager to downvote this.
I mean to each their own and I would understand if maybe we are 1/3 or halfway in....but it just aired yesterday????????
Hope we get a new casting news for another movie or drama by the end of the year. Dear X being a Tving original is so ughhhh "/. I need something else to look forward to.
From one of the drama's producers ; so it is indeed (unfortunately ) a TVING Original drama, SMH. Youjung is finally free from SBS but at what cost? At this point , I would have even been even content with it showing on SBS and being distributed on Netflix afterwards (like My Demon). Thats; how I dont care for that TVING ott.
This drama being on TVING sucks. They dont have a good track record with their original dramas as I have mentioned previously (promotion wise and world wide accessibility wise).
Anyways, it is what it is I guess. Also it says possible airing date second half of next year.
Xu kai is doing such a great job as Han Ting. Love him in this CEO role and he looks/sound convincing. I also find his chemistry with Seven electric. I am really enjoying ABAY so far. My 2 faves....they didnt disappoint. The wait was long......but it is worth it.
