Lastly ,My Demon Blu-ray production is in progress 🎉🎉🎉. The pre -ordering period ends on 3/22. I already pre -order mine and it usually takes a few months for people to receive it. Can't wait 🙂🙂.

Btw she said ( as I expected) during her pop up event she had at Miumiu a few days ago that she's taking a break this year to rest so we most won't get any new drama until next year . Once again anyone who has followed her for a while like I have know that so my grievance with her company is not about her choice of projects or how often she takes on projects because she chooses them and decide When to work. For having worked in the industry for almost 21 years , her entire life, this is completely understandable and she has the luxury to do this.

My problem with her company is that they don't even promote her properly and don't give her a lot of opportunities outside of acting SMH.

Anyways, her Seoul Fan meeting is on 03/24.

The way I HATE her agency. Literally keeping my fingers crossed that she doesn't renew with them once her contract ends. The way that they barely promoted during my demon era and don't even get me started during HCG era ( the promo was barely non existent). My demon Huge popularity was mostly due to Asian countries that kept it in the top 10 on Netflix for 11 weeks . She has a very stable Korean fan base but when you look at a lot of her fans pages ,a lot of them are from overseas so WHY are they announcing a Fan meeting for only Korea ( with a seating capacity of 400 🙃🙃🙃....when pre _sale registration already surpassed that) when Rookie actors are having overseas FMs out of the gate 💀💀💀. Even actors who may not be popular like her yet have international fan meetings 💀💀.Like I see rookies from smaller companies being promoted better.

Another day, Another My Demon accomplishment !!!! 2nd most watched K drama on Netflix in 2023 https://twitter.com/hoogmikyung2/status/1755443495568101858/photo/1 . So incredibly proud of Youjung, Song Kang , all the wonderful actors and production who worked so hard on this drama. For a drama that aired at the end of November this is extremely impressive. King of the Land is 1st and it aired from June To August so for MD for snatching the 2nd spot when it aired on November 24th is so impressive.

I know Sweet Home 2 didnt do well but still I am shocked that it is at number 19 on this list !!!. Even welcome to samdiri and destined with you are in the top 10. Anyways, congrats to My Demon Team.

I do not mind constructive criticism because as much as I love the drama, I do think that the plot could have been stronger . What I cannot respect is fans of other shows which are not even in the same genre as My Demon who are miffed at the show global success especially compared to their favorites and who come up with all kind of reasons as to why this show is 1 of the worst show that they have ever seen. Or even worse, I have seen a lot of fans of his previous Female Lead from Nevertheless compare this show to that one. How does that makes sense when it is not even the same genre? BOTH shows have nothing in common at all and the only thing that they do have in common is the male lead Song Kang. This just reeks of jealousy and the fact that he had great chemistry with Kim Yoo Jung as they feel like he can only have it with that other FL (who I actually do like as an actress). They tried that mess with his other Female Lead Park Min Young from their other drama (while their drama was airing) although I do think that their chemistry wasnt the very best out there, it was still good. I am saying this because there is clear agenda with some (NOT all ) of these negative reviews. Anyways, at the end of the day the show resounding success even though it ended almost 3 weeks ago speak for itself. Is it the BEST Kdrama ever created ? not at all but the way some of these reviews talk about My Demon, you will think that it is the worst show that has ever been created. Ridiculous!

Insane how My Demon is the n5 most popular show on Netflix in January. The only Korean show in the top 5 and it is not even a Netflix original.....had no fan service and quite frankly not too much promo. The recently released Korean Netflix originals in December and November didn't even do that well.
