It is 2026 and I think that by now drama fans should be aware of how Esther's voice is. I swear this is the n1 complaint I see everytime her drama airs. I completely understand that it is not for everyone and everyone is entitled to their own opinions but it gets really annoying to see this complaint every single time her drama airs !!! You already find it annoying, you dont like it...then why watch her drama? It is her real voice; she cant do anything or change it. If it annoys you so much please go watch something else.
Even in her drama with Ryan, same thing. I think that in the drama with zhang ling he, she had to slightly adjust it to match the dark character she was playing but geeezzz.......like please give us a break !!! I am not even a super fan of her or anything but seriously every single time !!!
Itβs the makeup and the skin smoothering filter that they use.
Esther at the beginning of the drama is portraying her character who is supposed to be a teenager....and later in the drama, we get to see a more mature character.

I personally cant find any at the moment....imo most of the charm of this drama has mostly to do with the insanely hot, beautiful, and amazing chemistry Esther and Heyu had; just insane chemistry. I have watched many dramas and this drama is all the way up there with 1 of the best chemistry I have ever seen. No other dramas that have been released lately come close to me.
I really enjoyed sniper butterfly last year though besides SAL ; amazing chemistry/skinship and great plot but the story may not be for everyone and it is a noona romance (jie romance?); some people seem to be put off by the leads age difference in real life but they are actors and the drama was great. 1 of my faves of last year.

It is so hard because even some established C actors still find it difficult for many reasons to part ways with their agency......no matter shady or not great they are....what's more for someone who is not on that level yet. Also there is something going on at weibo with his fans....I wished I really knew because some fans are being cryptic on sns.
He really does.....I think that with the way SAL made him go crazy viral , a very competent agency could have done so much more already career wise...at least get him a couple more endorsements (unless he doesnt want to).

Some SOLOS act like this (and that goes with every actor fandom....and also from what I have read some of these solos were fans of her other Cps (not anymore) and they are masquerading this hate that they have towards SAL instead of airing their true grievance about it lol. Esther was unfortunately hit by malicious rumours and lowkey bullied on her social media last year (if you go to some of her Instagram pics for the past 6 months and read the comments , you will see) but this is NOT a reason to attack a drama that she loves so much.....literally her 3 pinned comments on Instagram are SAL.....she expressed it in so many ways how much she loves this drama besides that..... Also I think that some of them dislike it because Esther got a lot of hate as well from this drama from random drama watchers...you know the usual her voice, her character, mannerims that people like to talk about when every of her drama airs....they would praise the ML and drag her....but again that gives them no reason to be so hateful towards a drama that she worked so hard on . I just ignore their nonsense...I am pretty sure I have that account blocked.
I am sorry but you cant really call yourself a fan if you vehemently hate a piece of work that your fave loves. Fine you dont like it but to express your hate towards the drama everytime you can is a bit too much. Dont get me wrong , I have other favorite actors who have dramas that I dont really like but I dont go around and trash it or speak ill about it and that's the difference. That behavior is no worse than antis imo.
Also if it is because of the RL shipping...I mean Esther is known for having excellent chemistry with her actors and quite frankly is really shipped with some of them so Idk why they seem to have such a strong reaction to the people who do that shipping on SAL compared to some of the actors she was/is shipped with previously ....I cant remember seeing some of them act like this with some of her other ships so I just call the whole thing hypocrisy tbh.

Yeah this is 1 of the few modern dramas where supporting characters were really great imo and added to the story, the plot somehow....I swear they are so many dramas here that just makes you want to fastforward anytime x or y supporting character is onscreen and often times, it is because they dont add much to the plot .
I dont know what it is about this drama that makes it so hard to move on :( :( :(. Reading some of the comments here and on other platforms , at least I am not the only one who feel this way.
