wow I didnt know that it ranked that high and that's impressive .In some ways yes I think...her character of Geng Geng is still so memorable till this day. But I would say that Go Ahead years later, cemented her status to to speak.

It would be nice if we could see cooperation between Chinese actors and korean actors like we are now seeing with chinese actors and japanese actors but I think that the ban in place with china and korea would make it hard to happen...not sure if it has been lifted.

I really dont think she is attending even though I see some Melons including her name.....I think that she will be filming.
I would love to see her attend though....

I am sorry but this was always expected.....especially since if I am not mistaken the FL is in some ways involved with yuzheng company.
This man is notorious in the industry for doing dramas to promote his artists by using X or Y lead to do so..... I have seen it happen with other actors.

He did the same thing to Xu Kai in Snow eagle Lord....and guess what ? The FL in that drama is the same FL as the one from the Glory.
XK screentime in that drama was almost like a special appearance and he was the 1st billed actor ... , he even had less screentime than other supporting actors in some episodes (a lot of them were Yuzheng artists).....I remember his fans were so pissed at the time......and the crazy thing is that XK is in Yuzheng company and he still did this...used him to promote his other artists...so can you imagine with someone who is not even his artist?
I highkey knew that the same thing would happen to Neo as soon as I heard about this drama and Yuzheng being involved and looks like I was right.....

This is why Kiwis didnt want him to take this project in the 1st place and why I was even apprehensive on it when I knew that Yuzheng was involved with his actors. I have seen it happen with other dramas and his other actors......it just never bode well for whoever is involved in the production especially if you are 1 of the leads.

So glad to see him thrive with his latest drama.
I have always rooted for him since Find yourself and Go Ahead. If Im not mistaken this drama that just ended is his biggest hit yet since Go Ahead which was like 6 years ago? I know that he had problems with his company and sued them /asked to leave which is why his career slightly stagnated after GA but I am so glad that he has been doing really well since the past 2/3 years.

It is kind of weird that some of these people who are probably loving him on his new drama have been dragging him for years for his acting. I feel like I was sometimes in the trenches defending him at times on SNS. Idk why some people have always been fixated on saying that he cant act when Find yourself and GA are there.....anyways,.............

He is a great actor (despite what some people like to think) and he deserves this.
I also enjoyed his drama with Angela Baby ....(except for 1 unnecessary character who had too much screentime for my liking with the most horrendous storyline that I ranted about in that drama comment section that spoiled the whole drama for me seriously). They had amazing chemistry,

The damage has already been done smh.....at least he didnt suffer from it longterm.

I think that it is mostly because she only had 1 drama released last year and it was literally almost 3 weeks ago; also that drama is a iqyi production....so they tend to attend iqyi scream night which is later in the night.
I would also love to see her on weibo night but I dont think she will attend....since she may have a little free time before she starts filming again, she might attend events next month or in March...Im pretty sure she is attending something at the end of this month...cant remember what it is.

a sequel could be nice :).

Anyone slightly annoyed that Zhao zhao never knew how mumu knelt down on that cold concrete floor for him before he did that race in the drama ? I dont think the drama ever addressed it.

I saw bts of Esther for that scene and she really had scratches afterwards doing it.


If I am not mistaken, I think that both addressed it in 1 of the lives that they did.

he had a couple of hits dramas too since then; I really liked the vibes I saw when I remember watching the bts of go ahead back then so it would be nice if they could reunite.

we still needed that episode 30 though lol.

I finished watching it and this drama is a lot better than some of the reviews suggest. I am so pleasantly surprised that SWL had a lot of screentime here ...almost equal to AB tbh and he had a specific storyline too.
I was afraid that they were going to do him dirty like Ryan in his recent drama with victoria song where the latter seems like a guest/special role at best instead of ML with the amount of limited screentime he had and to reduce him to the FL love interest and nothing more...fortunately that wasnt really the case with this drama.

I honestly would have rated this drama a lot higher if they didnt introduce one of the WORST female characters I have ever seen in a drama (the sister of the king who acted like the worst spoiled brat ever and had the FL friend as slave)....that storyline was so gross...I cant get over it....
I was so angry wathcing it....I just finished wathcing it because of the leads (I like their chemistry/story) but I kept fast-forwarding HER scenes.
I have seen these type of storylines in other dramas but the way it was presented in this drama was so terrible...she had no redeeming qualities whatsoever and we are supposed to sympathize with the fact that because she had some traumatic memories in her childhood it was ok to take that man(who did NOT like her...even as a friend....) as her " slave" and he had to obey to her ...and we were supposed to sympathize with her LOVE for him? SO GROSS....Why did the screenwriter do this? The drama was perfectly ok before this...it literally tarred my image of the drama...I was fast-forwarding her scenes so fast.....also you could tell that the show wanted us to sympathize with her
gross behavior...so because she treated the ML and that man with a poison they had....we were supposed to sympathize with her character? I cant remember the last time I hated a character this badly....I was literally fuming everytime that character was on screen....maybe it is the actress who didnt interpret it well. I wanted her to die at the end (unfortunately she didnt)
I knew that because she was fixated on that poor guy who was the FL friend, he will not be able to live..... it was actually a good thing that he died, he would have to live the rest of his life with that vile creature who saw him as a slave and wouldnt leave him alone ...he literally didnt even care for her as a person....like I dont get it....how people force this storyline and think that it is ok?


There are a lot of things I could criticize about the drama but overall it was not bad as some people make it seems (excluding that vile storyline of the sister of the king) .I could have rated it at 8.5 had it not been for that vile character. I cant get over it...just terrible and unnecessary too SMH.

Anyways, I loved SWL and AB chemistry.......I know that people love to come for the leads acting abilities but they delivered in this drama imo....
